Gene was born and raised in Aliquippa Pa, and spent three years in the US Army as a field artillery crewmember serving in the First Gulf War. Following his service, Gene attended the Art Institute of Pittsburgh. Over the past fourteen-plus years Gene has created art for titles including Anvil of Dawn, Sanitarium, Daikatana, Metroid Prime, Age of Empires III, and Halo Wars. Gene currently lives outside Dallas Texas with his son and beagle. He digs riding his Buell street and Honda dirt bikes, watching his Steelers rack up the Lombardi's, fishing, games, and creating "sick" Fantasy \ Sci-Fi art.
