post your Glorious moment
Hey all, I read some tweets on hero academy and decided to have a thread on the forum where players can post their glorious(ownage) moments!
This is one of the moment from me at the beginning phase of the game, although I missed out the previous move which is an even more glorious one.

I've been playing the dwarves a lot since they came out, but only yesterday did I finally get the Strangelove achievement. I had tried before to set it up against random opponents, but it finally came unintentionally against a decent opponent. That felt good!

Ahhhh... the Good Ole Days when corpses were nuclear and The Tribe was feared.

Ah yes, i recall those ancient times when corpse detonations were more than a longe range stomp *sighs reminiscently*
Ah, those memorable glorious league moments in the good ole days... One was a shammy and 2 warriors vs pally, runemetaled grenadier and a 4-5 more dwarven units on the single crystal map. My dwarfy opponent had a drill and scroll in hand, but could not KO both warriors in a single turn, and was forced to reform his troops every turn to avoid a wave-move-CK - his crystal was below 25%. Eventually one of the fatties pwnt it.
There were several league moments when I would bait my opponent with a last shammy and use it to develop killer position, later to win without healers.
Oh and there was this one fella Canis, who quit HA after losing 2 league games to corpse explode. Damn, those were the good times. No epic screens unfortunately =\

lol arat, how many of these games did you have? (warrior onehitting 2500 crystal dmg is still stupid ^^)
I wish they would bring back the full-damage corpse explode. Nerf some other aspect of tribe if necessary. It was a big part of what made them unique. (For similar reasons i hope they dont nerf grenadier's AOE - would make dwarves much more bland.)
deleting double post
For me, TF2 has enjoyed many glorious moments, particularly on the train and teleport maps.
On the Train map, the scout's ability to deploy and make it to the opposing train button in 2 moves makes for some great setups, including jumping on the tran button twice out of nowhere, devastating jarate train bombs and other ridiculous combinations. There is nothing sweeter than rampaging into the heart of your opponent's army with a pyro, heavy or demoman and taking down 3-4 guys and nailing another couple on the train.
On the teleport map, the sword tile in the middle is ripe for mass casualty setups with the demoman or heavy. There was that one time with a medic-buffed demoman vs tribe that I bombarded and stomped 6 greenbacks in one move knocking out another 2 with my final move.
^this^
A heavy on the sword tile on the teleport map is just awesome. Because of the sort of hidden mechanic that you can hit units at 100% from 2 diagonal tiles again, it is especially effective. The heavy just *dominates*. Hard to kill, and if you set it up right it can basically decide the outcome of the match.
I have had many glorious moments on that map with the heavy.
Similarly the train map ... There was this one time that i moved my ninja twice to put it on the enemy train spot. It hits their heavily buffed unit (can't remember specifically) that has another unit behind it. Then, teleswap, TRAIN, teleswap TRAIN, teleswap TRAIN. The ninja is safe and i've had FOUR trains on one turn! Pretty much nothing can survive it!
...and nailing another couple on the train...
Well that certainly didnt sound dirty ;P
