Yeti is too hard solo
How about not balancing a dlc around frydeggs playstyle and give the rest of us a chance.

Yeti's are certainly a pain but no more then gnolls. We normally build a filter for them with half high grinders and some sort of slow (ie tar or web) and that will take care of most of them, the rest usually enrage charging into our killbox where they get shredded. Check out some of Juicebags/Cheetah's videos.
This game has alot of evolution to your personal skill as time goes on and you realize unupgraded traps and weapons are better for scoring. To my understanding MM209 and I are the only ones to have a #1 endless score with completely unleveled traps that have 5 skulled(wave 40+) as well. It is hard to do but it is totally possible.
Would have to agree with Strider, the yetis are pretty easy to finish off with some proper filtering, just the evil little goblin sappers... such a pain on Chilled Caverns!

Goblin sappers as a whole are poorly balanced. If they are going to spam them the aoe blast should not be so large. If you kill them they should not detonate at all. The fact that they can disable tar...WTF! At least make them conform to baricades.
It's funny you say around Fryedegg's playstyle.
What you don't know is how much he struggled with the Nightmare Yeti levels. He spent weeks trying to do the Hive in his own way.
Yeti is the most recently released DLC packs, I think its appropriate for it to be quite difficult. After all, to get through the whole single player campaign and the two other DLC packs i'm sure most players should be seasoned Orc killers by now. The Yeti pack helps make even the seasoned players think a little harder :)

None of it is as hard as the last level in the Classic Levels pack you get for buying OMD!. That last level is the worst level me and my friend have encountered in the game. We ended up cheesing it with placing brim all around the core and then it was just too easy >.>"
But yeah I agree about the sappers, they are annoying and I can only imagine how annoying they are in single player.

OP, the 2 last levels of this DLC aren't created with fair difficulty in mind, it's just a braindead "dump everything at the same time and dump many of them" type any other level of the game doesn't have, just roll with fire based traps and stick the flame bracers with stun wall somewhere in your setup, those 2 levels are just uninteresting, they're not worth you scratching your head over.

I don't disagree with this statement. Yeti's are decently balanced I believe as are goblin sappers, however the spawn rate of goblin sappers in chilled cavern is massively unbalanced. That map is frustrating for the best of us, forget about the causal gamer.
