Thinking for the future
Robot and microsoft. Two working to gether for about 15 years now, well ES did but they the same. The age series has went on for a long time, and in to the future with the new AoEO. 2 great companies. microsoft, being the biggest of course but. for the future should their be an xbox game. well thats a hole knew diffrent topic. Now Robot did something very risky, and it worked out very very very good, some people are still getting over it. yes, am talking about the graphics. risky, look cool, i had to get use to it but they look good. any way 2 big companies, this is just my veiws, and i dont know how theys things work out but, should robot think about add to thier company, with smaller game makers, to make the ultiminte RTS/ now dont hate me for going a head am a thinker, and some times my imageintion goes all over the place. But i think you get my point is this topic looking to very into the future, or is it bit to early for robot to strt expanding. post your veiws. :)

Publishers don't necessarily 'own' developers but they do have relationships with multiple developers. Microsoft certainly don't 'own' Robot Entertainment ;)
Yes that's very true. But if anyone owns multiple studios (1st party developers) it is publishers. Beyond that there are mergers and buy-outs but that's about it.

Interesting idea..I think if they all got together it could be a big mess, but it's hard to speculate on something like that.

Robot Ent. is a game developer, not a publisher. Publishers own multiple developers.
