I just looked in the WHOIS database and Microsoft is listed as the owner of ageofempires4.com. Just a thouhght
the also bought ageofempires5.com so thats games 1 ans 2 right there, right? ;)
Go to http://whois.domaintools.com/ and search www.ageofempires4.com (and www.ageofempires5.com)
well i would expect them to own those domain names, just to stop a fake aoe site from being created. also if in the future they were to sell the rights for the aoe franchise then they could also sell the website for more $.
im just saying that this doesnt mean that theyre making aoe4 and 5. i still think there will be more installments in the aoe series because it would be silly for MS to not continue something with a predefined fan base. it would be like not continuing a movie franchise like harry potter, or batman or avatar. why would you not make something guaranteed to make money?
