Thanks for the Update, BUT
Where is the news? Got to dole out a tidbit now and then you know, cant just claim to be working on "exciting things" or "features" indefinitely.
It has been a while since we were last fed with actual news :)
Well, you just more or less indicated that Robot is actively working on another team at this moment, which is actually "news", that is the kind of thing I meant! Similarly, you could say something like "We are also pressing ahead on Android, and while I cant announce a release date yet, the work appears to be going smoothly" -- you know, tidbits :)
Is the new team beyond the concept stage and into testing?
•Initial game load is faster
•Fix to decrease "out of memory" crashes on iPad and iPod Touches
•Fixed Undo actions bug that awarded certain achievements incorrectly
•Fixed Spike armor increasing health when health was below 100.
•Fixed Wraith puppet scaling when attacking other units in replay mode
Wow the game loads appreciably faster now. Never thought to call the units 'puppets' before, heh.

Sorry, I thought I've addressed most of this either on the social networks, podcasts, or on the forums here. I'll add most of the below to the MMM next week, but in the mean time....
Yes, we are actively working on the next team for Hero Academy. It's beyond the concept phase and we're actually playtesting the mechanics and refining them daily. This one's a bit tougher because it is our most unique team to date. Even more so than the Tribe. Beyond that, there's not much I can say at the moment. The wait for this team will be a bit longer than you've had previously, but we think that it will definitely be worth it.
As for Android, it's a similar situation. We're still working on it. That said, we're still not near enough to completion to announce release dates. As we get closer to finishing it up, we'll put out all of the appropriate info for it.

It's what they're called by the game engine, so we just reference them that way ;)

Thanks Six!
the more unique, the better. So it's definitely worth it.
are there any "proper names" for the maps aswell? Would make things easier instead of having to describe every map instead.

Funny, I dont think I have seen anyone suggest map names before, but its kind of an obviously good idea! Robot could run a contest/poll type thing for the names.
I've been thinking it for awhile but never said something.. it would help alot
We haven't named them, really. But if you guys come up with some good names, I'm sure they'll stick ;)
A new team? I own all of the teams, but I stick with Dwarves and doubt I will purchase more anytime soon. I was hoping for more "features". I would pay for more customization options, an official league membership (sorry the player league is so clunky on my iphone), or a single player campaign.
To each his own, but I'd wager most people are excited about new teams more than any other feature.
For me, its the Android support that will be the most exciting :)
Hoping for more strategy involving the maps, high priority targets (like crystals), even worth destroying when going for TKO.
Rivers that slow movement passing them.. etc. im sure you boys can think up of something fun ^^
At this point, whatever would make RE money and keep HA going. :) I don't use anyone but the DE, so I've got everything pretty much, but to actually pay the game I need people to keep playing and RE to keep the servers alive!
Oh wait, and my mad science steampunk aristocrat team, with a sexy assassin in a red dinner gown. With backstabbing ability. :D
Just kidding, I buy all the teams anyway. :)

We post news when we have news. We aren't ready to announce the next team yet, but as soon as we are, we'll do so. Until then, there's not much new news to discuss :)
