I've still got all three games going with Ome15, though two of them are pretty close to completion. He's asked for some extra time to deal with Real World complications, and I told him I'm fine with that.
Flameshock defeats Hurrderp 3-0 in some of the most intense and close matches I have ever played.
@martianking: I think I'll be retiring or at least taking a break from tournament hosting, it's great but I think I don't have as much time to do it well. This tournament did not receive as many updates as I had hoped, and progressed slowly, because I needed to organize it better. I needed to plan more and need to dedicate specific time to posting updates etc. Pixel_Tiger hosted an excellent tournament, I would look forward to him setting up a TF2 tourney :) Or of course luigiman and many other talented members of this community.
I am making sure to keep up to date with the results in this thread, I will be posting the next round soon, based on whether I think we can start.

I am thinking of randomizing the next stage, so I will have to get the full list to ensure it's done fairly. Otherwise I may assign player 1 and 2 and randomize based on that, then randomize on who gets to be 1 and who gets 2. But I would prefer to have the full list. I'll update tomorrow based on how I've decided to proceed, I think we've gone as far as possible with red v blue.

At this point, with the patch coming (I assume) any day, with balance changes, I would probably just as soon wait. Yes, its a mirror match, but still, the patch should be coming any day now, right?
I agree, we should probably wait to start the next round until the patch sets in, shouldn't take more than a week.
Hey all. Sorry, I've been away longer than I realized. I kinda lost track, I wasn't sure who my opponent was going to be, and then time just got away from me.
So what now? Have I missed the deadline? I haven't challenged Skeletonmaster yet, nor received any challenges from him. I'll send him one right now, I guess it can just be a casual game if I'm already out of the tourney.

We need QomQam to appear and re-affirm his willingness to run it. Its been a while. That he hasnt appeared post-update is a cautionary flag.

Lets do this. Trip, you get going with Flameshock. I'll have a courtly battle with my fellow lawyer, TBKesq and if QomQam doesnt show in a few days, we'll appoint an intermin TD to try and resolve the situation with the remaining games. I'll do it if no one else wants it.
Probably we can salvage that half of the bracket somehow, but if not, we can finish our half, as the four of us (Trip, Art, Flameshock and TBK) are all still around and active enough.

traq and I are nearing the end of our three matches. I believe the only chance I have of winning 2 or 3 of them is if Traq defaults due to inactivity - fat chance. Y'all should proceed accordingly.

How about the player whose playername comes first alphabetically goes first twice if the ones digit of the Dow Jones Indistrial Average is an even number at today's close, and the other player goes first twice if it is odd?
