Super Mario Galaxy 1/2

What do you think of these games? I thought number one was ok, but 2 is just amazing. There are so many stars to get, with many challenges and it isn't a game where you follow one path to win. There are many secrets and it's just plain fun. I got all 242 stars, how about you?

Also, what do you think of the other Mario games? I love Super Mario 64 and it's probably in my top five favorite games.

I sat there for an hour trying to beat it, but always got destroyed at the disappearing platforms with the laser guys part. I think it was the fourth part... I played for an hour or so, then got my brother to be a second player and won it a few tries later. I just thought they did a great job at giving a challenge to everyone now.

Super Mario Sunshine was the last one that I really liked. I don't really care for the whole planet-hopping madness. Not for me, although I do own Galaxy (1).

I LOVE Super Mario Galaxy 2... is so much fun especially with wii love the controllers... think it worths to buy the first one

But the last one is tedious.

The disappearing platforms, cannons and lazer things are killing me 95% of the time.

The lasers are the worst. That's exactly the part I was talking about. There is too much to watch and avoid at once while still moving ahead. You need to have extra clouds from the last part and unless you have a lot of patience, a second player.

I enjoyed the first Super Mario Galaxy, and I plan on buying the second sometime soon. Never played Super Mario Galaxy 1/2, though. Sounds like some terrible spin-off.
