[Suggestion] No Ads with purchase?
I can understand that if you stay a freebie, you will have to live with ads. But whats kind of stupid is, that getting rid of the ads is bound to buying a heroic team. In short words, I dont want to play that nightelfs, and I may not want to play
So here is my suggestion: Cant we get rid of ads with any purchase? For you guys it shouldnt matter if I bought a heroic team or a avatar... from my understanding, if I "upgrade" to a paying costumer, the ads should be gone.

a RE answer on that topic would be nice, if there there is a possibility for a future change in that direction.
+1 Here, my friend really likes the game, but has no interest in the dark elves as a team. He is willing to buy team colors, or more like a barrel of taunts but wont untill they get rid of ads for any purchase.
Any activity on this Robot?
We discussed some things like this early on, even having two versions like a lot of apps do. But that can tend to overcomplicate things. Ultimately, we didn't like the idea of simply "pay to make the ads go away" because it felt like more of an annoyance tax than it felt useful. We chose to tie it into teams because then it's not just paying to lose the ads - the primary point of hte purchase is to get exciting new gameplay, and the ad removal is a nice bonus.
All of that said, I'll note your concerns to the team so they can decide if things need to be revisited.
A question out of curiosity, though - Why would you explicitly NOT want to buy the Dark Elves? When we released, they were actually the same price as buying Team Colors for the whole week, which you've indicated a willingness to purchase. Any feedback you give us is useful. :)
Oh! Well I have purchased the dark elves and the team colors, though, not for the sale price as it ended before we started playing. My friend is sort of a theme player, i.e. he loves supporting his team and making it triumph over others. The dark elves are evil, and he wont play them, but in any game that has dwarves he makes one instantly. You should see our Dark Elves vs Council games,The chat is full of "Prepare evil scoundrels! For the wrath of my wizard shall smote you from this world!" and such.
He is very excited for your next team and will be getting it as soon as it comes out. Though to be fair, so will I. I plan on making them wear black and saying their chaos dwarves. Haha, its gonna make him so mad.
For me, its a simple matter of taste. I like the council, and I want to play them, because of the neat tank - healer - archer setup you can play with them.
Its not like I think the dark elves are really bad, but I wanna play the other team way more, so no need to buy them "just to make the ads to go away".
If I could switch the Ninja for the Necromancer, Council would be perfect :D
I love Hero Academy but have no desire to buy the Dark Elves team, so I will endure the ads for now. I am however very interested in buying the third team listed in the Heroic Team list. I get a good vibe from them. I don't think that the Dark Elves team is OP or anything, I won the first game I ever played, against the Dark Elves, despite all my bone headed newbie mistakes. I see so much of them that I just don't need or want that team.
So the moral of this story is to release the third Heroic Team so that we can spend money on it. :)
there could still be the possibility that you dont like the 3rd one, either...
@SixOkay: I greatly understand that forcing players to buy something just to make the ads go is stupid, I completly agree. And I agree that a new team brings new gameplay possibilities.
Yet on the other hand, at the moment you force us to buy a heroic team to make them go away, because this is the only way All I'm saying is, a little more freedom would be nice =)
There could be another option. If Robot has a way to track how much a user has spent they could state that users have to pay a total of 2.99 before adds are removed. However the user chooses to spend that amount would be up to them.....thoughts?There could be another option. This is actually a good idea! I personally think its crazy not to want another team, and not too want to play one, but yea any purchase should remove the ads!
