Stomping units instead of exploding ...
I'm trying to stomp an enemy unit but cannot find a way with the tribe's witch. I'm assuming there is a way but I cannot figure it out atm...
Thank you for the info. I find that kinda dumb :/
I do wish you could range stomp with her or regular if need be. Buts that's the game so it's all good. :D
You can stomp with witch but only in cases where corpse explode line of sight is blocked. This can happen with a tf2 spy in the way for example.
If explosion is a valid move that takes precedence. Else a move to the tile is valid resulting in stomp.
Good to know, though I feel this seriously hinders the witch's ability to position. I've read up on possible changes the community would like to see in the tribe. Could this be something so small as to make a balancing difference?

Previously this has been requested here in the forum . Allow multiple actions menu by unit when available, or use 2nd action by tap and hold vs regular tap. However this changes the interface and I don't recall robot's opinion on the matter. If you go by actions then they won't be making this change. I would like having the option myself but getting this feature is unlikely.
Strategically it would sometimes be nice to have the option, but it would represent a major change to the simplicity of the interface and I don't think the strategic gains would be worth it. It's a quirk common to all units who can perform an action on KOed units, including healers, necros, and the Shadow. Once you recognize and understand the implications of these powers it just becomes another unit property to plan around, much like the Knight's knockback.

I hadn't considered other units with available actions on corpses. And the fact that they all suffer from this makes it much more understandable. I also see the difficulty in changing something like this from RE's standpoint. Thanks for the fast, informative posts guys.

You can only explode them with the witch! :D
