Yeah, that's too bad, cuz that's the expected release date of the new Hero Academy Mayan Team, complete with Ziggurat Crystals and Sacrificial Tiles that give magic bonuses to its Priest casters and its Quetzalcoatl super unit.

Out of curiosity: Would Robot even press the release-button on a thursday/friday? Due to the incoming weekend, unexpected bugs would persist over 2 whole days, which can lead to an enormous amount of unhappy customers. In the most extreme of cases, a little team would have to work through the WE, which isn't fun for anyone.. My bet is on mon/tue/wed for the stated reasons..

When did they say early november? All I ever heard was 'November'. Maybe I missed something.
They stated about 2 weeks ago the code was submitted to Apple for the app store update. I know (as an Apple developer myself) that it would be well and truly approved by now. I can only assume then that there's some issue that Robot are holding it up for. Maybe some last minute tweaks on server side, maybe some updates needed on Steam. Regardless, I'm sure they'll put it out soon enough. They want to get paid for all their hard work :)
In saying all that above in my patient, understanding self...... PLEASE GIVE IT TO US NOOOOOOOWWWW! :p

I wish they hadn't announced it so early. I did assume early November, even though it was never said. Getting a tad inpatient. That said though I'd much prefer Robot to release a balanced team that they're happy with than a rushed team that they have to patch a few days later.

I would also like everybody to look at Frankee's post above...I knew I was right this whole time. It's 17 DAYS now. Do you really think Apple hasn't gotten around to looking at an update by now? The update is clearly approved by Apple. I've had about 15 updates for apps within that time. They are constantly looking at updates. GIDDY-UP ROBOT

There could be a problem with approval of the update, but usually Apple would have communicated that already, or Robot would have gotten antsy and asked. So at this point, I am inclined to agree with you that the hold-up is likely solely on Robot's end, or at least that there is additional information that has not yet been relayed to us.
I'm impatient too. I seem unable to concentrate on my existing games and am actually losing like 3 or 4 random games, which essentially never happens to me.

I'm passing the time of the Hero Academy new team purgatory by targeting random games in order to capitalize on the fragile psyche of experienced players with myriad excuses as to why they are losing ; )

I am actually losing several, but yours is the only one where I inexplicably did something certifiable. You dont count as a random opponent though...some folks from the forum are actually quite good regardless of whether they play in the league, much better thant he average random.
im good and not in the league :) request me for a game! randoms can be fun to mess around with but i always enjoy the game more when i actually have to use my brain :p

yes, I actually dont play my max game .. because i want play then only the new team till i get read of it xD
I grow tired of this waiting!!!! Robot reveal your true intentions! We the people want to shop! Tell us why! But on a serious note guys lets all guess a date and see who gets it correct. I say the 14th.

I agree that the release is taking longer than expected. Whatever reasons the holdout may be, wished RE could release further details about the Shaolin team while the fans wait (im)patiently, maybe staggering the information in parts? Or a gameplay video perhaps? Hell, even some screenshots would help to raise interest levels. Look at the posts on HA's social media. Many clamouring for answers, and very little replies. It's way too quiet on the developer-community front. The new team is not a free update. It's a DLC afterall and it'd be nice if we can get glimpses of it before release.
I've got the 13th. And if I win, RE has to grant me a wish. My wish is a game re-view facility.
wednesday will be over 3 weeks, if it isnt released by then, then Robot seriously needs to improve their marketing/updating skills
