Nah, but seriously, the 1st anniversary for these forums is coming up in just a few short days. Got any plans? Maybe some new artwork to commemorate this special day, or perhaps a limited time avatar for anyone who logs in on said date (which I believe to be Thursday, July 8th), or maybe just a few words from some of the cool people at the studio... I dunno.
Anyways, just hoping something happens, because there's nothing more sad than everyone forgetting someone else's birthday/anniversary... Not really sure of what it would be under the circumstances.

Regarding the badges for first-day folks. We're going to be revising the badge system a little bit and adding more to it. When we do that, we'll add this badge in for those folks.

Indeed... just taking a look at MAG devs diary questions about that was insane.... :D! BUT maybe in a next game we might get to see a co op game to OMD ;)

In short, I'm making them square. I'm going to make the badges smaller and square to accommodate more of them. I want to ramp up the badges we're awarding to people for being a part of the Robot Community. So if everything goes well, you'll get badges for things like owning and beating our games, connecting your Steam account to your Robot Account, and ongoing prizes and badges if you visit our tradeshow booths. There will also likely be some participation badges over time for folks who are active in the blog comments and forums. Things like that.

There will be quite a few changes coming to the site this fall along side the release of Orcs Must Die! and in preparation for our other games that are on deck. It's going to be an exciting year for the Robot Community!

Awesome! Will there be something like images of the game without any sense and forums so we can speculate about it...?! I'm wondering weather a come back to the 3rd person like in OMD or a RTS.....Hmmmm so many ways of making a game it's impossible to guess :P
