Should the Lost Adventures levels be ...
I'm currently finishing everything in OMD I never got around to in anticipation for OMD2, and I just have to get 5 skulls on the last level before I'm ready to move on. I've already done a few levels on Nightmare, and most of the ones I've done I've gotten five skulls on. I haven't started the Lost Adventures levels yet. What I want to know is, should I go through the Lost Adventures levels on Warmage before or after doing the original levels on Nightmare? I know that might sound like a dumb question, but I ask because I figured that since the Lost Adventures levels are DLC they might have been designed to be harder on Warmage than the original levels are on Nightmare. Thanks for any help!
Okay, thanks! I'll definitely go Warmage DLC -> Nightmare Original -> Nightmare DLC then. Getting new ideas will be nice, it's amazing when trying to get five skulls on some of the original levels how incredibly easy they can become if you have the right trap setup.
EDIT: Oops, ended up replying twice.
If needed, get some of your traps upgraded and if you need them, get the skulls for those upgrades from playing nightmare levels. The warmage levels are quite doable, but the nightmare levels can be insanely hard. The trick is to know how to deal with ogres.
or to be VvT and say "barricades, what are those?" and pull of the most insane setups and somehow not lose.
Though, I guess that's an extension of "dealing" with Ogres.
VVT is indeed a legend. Then, there are some of us that have become Myths in our own right.
My advice? Play whatever suits you. If you have problems with ogres, Frost Amulet and Blade Staff combo fixes everything except the frost ogers. But if you can blade staff dance you can kill them pretty easily anyway.
VVT is indeed a legend.
We are going to have to watch out for VVt in OMD2 ... he's going to going to give everyone a run for their money. :)

They're definitely not harder on warmage than the original levels on nightmare. They are extremely hard on nightmare mode, though... The dlc levels, that is. The dlc is really different from the normal maps so it might give you a ton of new ideas when you want to do the rest of the normal maps on nightmare mode. Really think outside of the box with some of those levels...
But no, dlc maps aren't any more difficult than the normal campaign maps on warmage difficulty. I'd say they're about the same as the last few levels from the original campaign.
