"Rainbow Chasing Squad" sk ...
Hey Guys,
I was just BS'ing with Rogotin and as a joke I said "They should make a skin for everyone who has "Chased the rainbows" or has uncovered a big game milestone. Currently, there are only 3 DLC skins:
Knight of The Order (from presaling the game or twitter contest)
Cardboard Samurai (From a comic con contest and twitter contest)
Orc Slayer (community collectively slayed 250 million orcs)
I mentioned this just jokingly, but figured I post about it since during last weeks livestream Sixokay did make a comment about Robot having interest on some level in adding a skin or skin(s) for those of us working on/acheiving monumental, game-changing feats. There have been plenty of us who have done some awesome things and some that are about to acheive some new milestones.... ie Doc Shmock about to hit 1 million orcs slayed! It's be nice to have a sking to show some sort of recognitian to those of us who have pushed and continue to push the envelope.... The Rainbow Chasing Squad!
My initial thoughts are our hero dressed in an African-Safari type garb, with a rainbow color scheme and a sort of elaborate net that he uses to beat orcs with or catch the rainbows as he conquers new challenges. All this while wearing his majestic unicorn pool-floaty... just incase he falls into some water he wont drown....
Pretty silly I know, but I have a weird sense of humor. Either something like this or go the complete opposite from what I have suggested and do something completely badass, like a Chuck Norris Skin, where he has no weapon... just his round house... orcs would not stand a chance! And instead of an xbow Chuck could fists out of his beard!
So those are my ideas... I guess the are both very silly, but perhaps robot just needs some ideas and if they really like one or 2 they might actually make them!

Wow, a skin for the rainbow chasers. Given as a gift to big contributers to the community. This is a pretty cool idea. (and not just because I chased the rainbow with you guys) I can't believe a community manager or PR person hasn't thought of this before, what a great community builder. Would make for a pretty cool story on Kokatu and other gaming sites.
I vote that Rogotin and Doc Shmok should get the first ones....
Maybe he could wear an OMD t-shirt and a ball cap. lol
Rogotin at least needs a theory crafter badge below his name here in the forum. :)

It's a great idea, guys, but unfortunately it's not something we can invest in for the handful of you guys who are chasing rainbows. While I absolutely love what you're doing, and want to support it, developing a new costume for the game takes a good chunk of art time. Maybe a badge is in order....

How about a Rogotin DLC. It's a warlmage that just sits in the corner.. spits out curse words, theory and trolls the orcs. :)
