Petition for Co-Op
I just want to throw my 2 cents in: This game would rock with Co-Op! I know this may not be the plan, and that games are often focusing on single player only in order to enhance the quality of the finished product instead of spreading resources on multiple game types, but this type of game just SCREAMS to have Co-Op. If you agree, or have another opinion, post here to keep this thread at the top. We will get heard!
Yes, the Game is only interesting for me and my friends if it has multiplayer/co-op.
Game looks great, but i hope it will have multiplayer.

Ya, like stated before, this looks like one of those games where co-op is a must.
With feedback like this when the game launches i'm sure Robot will be looking into Co-op! :)
It would be really, really awesome with added co-op alongside the single player.
Online petitions have a pretty bad record when it comes to success, but I agree; this game screams for co-op, and I am sure that the potential difference in sales would be very notable!

Petition for Co-op mode!
This game looks awesome, but adding co-op will open many more doors to a wider audience. Way to many developers forget this, and I understand your crew is small, but the game may die out when people lose interest due. reduced support for collaborative mode. I been playing Tower Defense games & mods alot and the ones that I lost the interests in the fastest were games like "Defense Grid: The Awakening" and exs. "Dungeon Defense: beta" as it got more frustrating than enjoyable. I most likely will buy this game, but theres another TD game coming out, with support up to 4 players. I hope you will consider it once "again" to implementing the co-op mode into the game cause this game looks awesome!

single player games get boring too fast, but when played with others it just makes em more social, challenging, and you get to know people, that way you will always want to come back to slay more orcs with your friends!
aye competetive gameplay of 2 teams trying to see who holds more would be nice though!

Ha, I actually asked one of the Robot guys at PAX if there was any sort of coop planned.
While nothing he said makes any claim that there will ever be a coop, it sounds like they're very interested if they can find a good way to implement it. Here's hoping I suppose.
Considering the addictive nature of the game, I can only imagine how much fun coop would be. Furthermore, I was thinking a perfect game mode (maybe unlocked once you beat the whole game) would be where you choose one of the levels/maps and then you play against never ending waves of enemies to see how long you can last. Naturally, it should get more and more difficult. This mode would probably be even better with coop (just saying).

And about the Co Op system... they gonna need a platform in XBOX360 they can use LIVE and if they are going to release on GFWL they can use LIVE as well for matchmaking but if they gonna launch PC on STEAM i think it's servers? and PS3 is PSN ofc... it really depends.... or they can create a type of system like the IWNet for MW2 in PC but it's really expensive i guess?
I am loving the concept of this game, but if the game is only single-player, then it is a deal breaker for me. I want to play the game with friends so that I can enjoy some Orc killing with them. Please developers, make this game at minimum a co-op game.
Put Co-op in, and this will beat Sanctum. By a lot.
Um, so it's really kind of funny that they worked on an ONLY online game first then a STRICTLY single-player game next. Ya this multiplayer thing would be a deal breaker for me as well, if it's not in neither am I..
the game does need co-op and story campaigns and large bosses XD
I realize this is a shameless *bump*, but it sounds to me like we've got quite a few people who would love multiplayer, and some who would even say it is the reason to buy or not buy this game. Plus, over 1,000 views and 20+ posts in a few months seems to be a decent indicator. I'm just sayin'...

i think co op would be great for the game with teams of mages defending or even competing for the highest orcs killed :D or longest time defended it woukld be an awesome addition to have co op but maybe after the rest of the game has been sorted :) so it can be focused on

I think that it is vitally important the company understands that the amount of people sharing this view is a great number. I'd rather wait longer for the game and have co-op. Likewise, we bought another certain first-person defense game recently just for the co-op, and the co-op is great!
Yes, online petitions are rarely successful, and yes forums do not usually give a good view of the entire market that is out there, but this game will do so much better and will be such a better product, with more publicity, if it has co-op of some form.
Definately would love co-op in this game. When I first saw it i thought it would have Co-op. I was massively dissapointed when i heard there was no co-op and like others have said there would be a great deal more interest in this game if it had different co-op modes like team vs team, co-op and endless co-op.

Looks like it could lend itself very well to multiplayer but I would assume with two sets of players and traps they would need a completely rebalanced set of maps to play on. So while its something I doubt they could just add in right now its certainly something worth looking forward to in a future installment.
At the moment I welcome an other fun puzzle game. Plants vs Zombies still did very well with only single-player
