Only way to remove de-buff with taoist?
Am I correct in that the only way to remove a shaolin de-buff (poisoner or monk) is if you use a taoist? It's the only way I've seen to counter it in both matches and challenges. Besides resurrecting a ko'd unit I mean. Haven't tried a drill, maybe that works, the way it does with armor?
If this is the case, it seems like an odd design choice... and a big reason why Shao v Shao is so bleeding boring. In my games as Shao so far, I've gotten good results using "hit and run" with both monks and poisoners, just running up to runemetalled units with my own un-upgraded units, and weakening them for a later move. Ironically it's a tactic that I've always laughed at noobs for when they try it with other teams, and units who don't have de-buffs; as it's easy to heal right back up, and they've just wasted a whole turn of AP. But in shao v. shao, a back row of taoists completely shuts down the usefulness of hit and run. It seems very odd that the devs would put in a counter like that for MIRROR matches only, when the playing field is already level by default, due to identical teams.
I must admit, random match hasn't given me the most skilled opponents so far, so I'm wondering if there are ways to de-de-buff that I'm not aware of yet, and if my hit-and-run is as effective as it seems.
I apologize if there's something obvious I'm missing, I've been away from the game for 7 or 8 months and am learning both Shao and TF right now, so I'm a bit rusty.
