Not getting bamboo

I've been playing a lot of Shaolin and I don't think I've ever gotten my bamboo earlier than the final round of my items.
has anyone else noticed this in their gameplay? I have 10 different shaolin games going right now, all in various numbers of rounds passed- and haven't seen a single bamboo in any of them.
i never get them until my last 6 items. anyone else have this problem?
This is a known bug and should be fixed in the next update.
