New Crashes Explained
Hey folks -
We know that several of you are getting crashes since the update. We've managed to track down what is going on. This crash appears to be happening in some very specific cases. If you had a game already active, and the last move made before the update contained a chain action (lightning or chain heal), and you then watch the replay of that move in the new version of HA, you'll get a crash.
So what can you do if you're getting this crash?
If the chain action in question is not the first move your opponent makes, you can quickly press the fast-forward button to skip the replay entirely. Then, make and submit your move. After you've submitted a new move on the new updated version of HA, this problem goes away and you can play as normal.
If the chain action is the first move made on the replay and you simply cannot fast-forward past it to make your move, then please email firstname.lastname@example.org with the details of the match (who's in it, when was it started, teams, etc) and we'll look at it. The most likely resolution for those situations will be forcing the match to resolve and awarding both players with a win.
