Well no one has said they got an invite and its getting late to start anything now even in america -8 GMT or somthing? Basically 1+1=2 ;-)
Can you actualy say your and beta tester (and respect the NDA)? I know there will be a badge on these forums, that people said they were alpha testers.

Ya cause there is a beta badges too so you must be able to say if you are a beta tester? I just read the NDA again:
1. Do not take photos, videos, or audio recordings of the beta software.
2. Do not post photos, videos, or audio recordings of the beta software on any venue.
3. Do not describe any part of the beta software on any venue except the alpha’s official Microsoft Connect website.
4. Do not allow others to play or watch you play the beta software.
5. Do not leave the beta software running unattended.
6. Do not leave the beta’s official Microsoft Connect website or official community website running unattended.
7. Do not threaten or abuse other participants in the beta software or on the beta’s official Microsoft Connect website or official community website.
8. Do not attempt to hack, modify, decompile, reverse engineer, or otherwise tamper with the beta software.
9. Do not attempt to hack or otherwise interrupt the beta’s official Microsoft Connect website or official community website.
10. Do not attempt to copy or redistribute the beta software.
11. You may download one copy of the beta software and play it from one computer only.
So it doesnt say anything about saying your a beta tester. We know there are alpha testers on these forums, and alpha is more secure than beta testing? i may be wrong.. as always ;-)

IMO it must be the same! Can't imagine that beta is less secure then alpha. The both must have NDA.
But Alpha testers couldn't say they were testing AOEO but Project Spartans or Game 1.0?
You can say you are in the Beta, that's it. You cannot talk about what you experience in the Beta.
The easiest thing to do is just refer people to the RE site, the AoE:O site, http://twitter.com/AgeOfEmpires or http://www.facebook.com/ageofempiresonline since those have info and details that are not under non-disclosure.

Someone in another thread in this forum quoted a Microsoft employee/spokesperson who posted on the AgeCommunity forums saying no invites this week.
Hopefully next week before PAX.
Yet another dissapointment from MS, don't know any company who goes so all out with a new game advertising and offes a beta, and then waits weeks and weeks to do any invites.

Actually, these sorts of delayed invitations are more the standard than the exception. They've also already explained why it was delayed (technical problems).

I have been in @ least 3-4 betas, and never had to wait this long for an invitation. They are always very prompt.

Yeah, and I patiently waited my turn. We had our own set of "delays," if you will, since it was a much smaller group than you guys will no doubt be. ;o) Just passing along the advice.
Remember that after BETA starts there will be more invites. week/month (not sure) but there is still hope if you dont get in the first wave of invites

it is not a way you should treat a client.
if you anticipate tehnical problems - you delay the moment you publish the information. if problems occur unexpected - then you post an official statement with apologise everywhere its possible
