Lost my mouse look.......
Great game, everything was working fine but now I lost my mouse look. It works fine in other games and even after a reinstall
I can't get it to work. If there is a setting or something that was turned off, I can't find it anywhere. I really want to play but without
the ability to aim it's pretty tough...... any help would be appreciated.
I have a wireless microsoft mouse and I just changed the batteries and reset it just in case. I also have a microsoft 360 controller plugged in but
it has been plugged in for months. I will take it off when I get home. I can move fine in the game with the keypad, my mouse works fine
with the in game menus and the fire button works in game. Also I reinstalled the game and started a new profile.
Did you ever try this with the controller unplugged? This can happen with a lot of PC games - any other peripherals plugged into the box can cause control issues. It's not every game, obviously, but many.
The controller was the problem. I'm not sure if it wasnt working because it was laying in such a way that had the directional buttons depressed or just some random other problem. I had that controller plugged in without problems but it may have been moved. Thanks for the help!

It doesn't even have to be leaning on any buttons. For some games, just having the other input freaks out the inputs and you get weird behavior. I know it's not just Orcs, as I've had this problem pop up on nearly ever PC game I've worked on. I'll make notes for the dev team though about considering manual options in the menu to FORCE K&M instead of making people plug and unplug stuff.
I've had this issue before too in other games when I had the buttons depressed from the controller laying face down on the ground. My wife
cleaned the office and fessed up to moving the controller. I just never thought to look at the controller since it had been plugged
in the entire time. Thanks again....
Do you have any other controllers plugged in, like joy sticks, wheels or gamepads? Are you using a wireless mouse?
