Locked game
A friend and I are locked out of a game we are playing. We've been locked out for a day now. Our outer game(s) are fine for each of us, but for this one game, when each of us tap on the game, it just highlights the game but stays highlighted and doesn't 'open up', so we can get in to play. We've tried rebooting phones, but it doesn't help. Any other thoughts?
If it matters, we're playing dwarves vs orcs on one of the older boards (ie no train tracks or vine-covered crystals).
I'd like to try and recover this game to finish it.
I am having same issue with one of my games. It's bothersome because I can't delete it and I have to keep going back a screen to move to next game all the time.
I too am having the locked game issue. On Steam I get the following message: "The server request timed out" and on iOS the game just loads for a minute then nothing happens.
Using the "next game" button defaults to this game at the top of the list meaning I have to manually select games. Not that big a deal, but still annoying. :D

I have a similar issue.
This game (vs Luigiman) was open when the servers went down, and when the servers came back up again, I tried to submit a move but it didn't seem to "take". Now, I can't open the game, and if I play another game and hit the next game button, it says "loading game" for a while and then nothing happens, although I can still go back to the game list.
EDIT: iOS, latest version (how do I tell what version this is? "About" doesn't seem to do it). Username tabby_nat.
I'll "me too" this issue also. I have two games stuck (and 7 games that I can still play) using the Steam client. I am stuck against SpazAttack311 and Sokotor. Funny thing is that one of my games with Sokotor is just fine.
same here. i have 7 stucked games.
5 of them are empty screens and 2 are server timed out
I've got the same issue here in a game with the player "verrytein" : impossible to enter game, and it's quite annoying the "next game" button isn't usable anymore because it's the first game in the top of the list...
EDIT : It's also on iOS version, and I also have other games which I can access, it's my turn but i can't move : I see no action points in the circle. For some ot this games I test the give up : it worked fine...but it's ok for me just for newest games. I don't want to give up on older ones because I spent too much time playing it !
Of my 10 turns queued up this morning one had this problem and two are stuck with the blank unplayable board. The others played just fine.
Same issue here. Ive got 2 games that i cant open. One i have to move, the other my opponent's turn. Another game which i already made a move doesnt register that its the other player's turn so im stuck watching my own replay.it happen when i was submitting and suddenly the server was down.

But it has only been existing for the last three days for me
Some of the games I start and play I suddenly can't do one of two things:
1.When I click to enter the game and the game says 'loading game' - it just stops loading and the game is not loaded.
- Same when I click next game, when inside one of the other games, it simply says 'loading game' but nothing happens, so I have to jump back to the games menu, to enter one of the other games. Total pain in the ***, when you can't even delete the game in question.
Right now it is like this with two of my games
2. When I click to enter the game, it works fine. Then I act out my turn and click submit. It writes 'Failed to submit your turn, please check out your internet connection or try again later' (or a message something like that) - but it only does this with that one game.
Currently the 2nd problem has only happened to one of my games, and luckily I could resign from that game. So just started a new game with the same user. But still annoying, if you had a good game going.
For the last three days one of my major problems with heroes academy is that the servers have appeared offline for maintainance.
It happens for around 10 hours in a row. I can't log into my games and have to wait for several hours before I can answer my games.
It is ok with maintainance - but for half a day each day for three days - I figure that's overkill...
It would be nice if Heroes Academy had a forum where the staff informs about downtimes for maintainance, current errors in the game and when they are supposed to be fixed.
Actually most of my problems with Heroes Academy started after they released the Team Fortress 2 team / PC version of Heroes Academy.
And that's rather obscure since I am playing on Ipad. Perhaps servers need to be upgraded because of more players coming into the game after the PC version was released.
I've bought all teams available on IOS, so since I've put some money and alot of hours into this game, it would be nice if it just works :)
My user is Zithral in the game - feel free to challenge me. It is always random which team I choose, except I don't have team fortress, since I can't buy it on IOS, and I don't want the game for my PC... or Mac (if that is even possible?).

I can say I got the same issues in game than norgar in the last 3 days : loading games that can't load, games unpossible to submit or even play for which I could give up...and no access to Hero Academy at all with a "closed for maintenance " message.
I agree with him about annoucements of downtime and maintenance, specially when it takes that long.
