League/1000 Members/Prize/Hero Acade ...
The League is approaching its 1,000th member. SixOkay generously agreed to provide one of the new HA shirts for us to give out as a prize, however we see fit.
Any suggestions? I dont like the idea of just giving it to the 1,000th member that signs up, as I think that once SixOkay promotes that, we'll get 100 people signing up and never playing a game.
Since I dont think the 1,000th member thing is too good of an excuse for a tourney, my best current idea would be to use a random number generator to identify a member on the Leaderboard table -- i.e. someone that has completed at least one League game. Maybe hold the drawing one week after we reach 1,000.
Posting here because more League folks are more active here than on our own forums.
Keeping with the 1K theme, how many members have put in about 20 League games?
That's about 1,000 rounds based on the average game being close to 50 rounds.
Or at least 4 games (5AP * avg 50 rounds = 250AP / game, * 4 games = about 1,000 AP).
I would use something to like that cull the list to either veteran and/or actives (at least 3 games in the recent the past 3 months).

Not particularly no, but we dont have a new car to give away. Besides, we always get new members whenever Robot does a tweet mentioning the League, prize or not, and we dont actually need new members anyway, kind of besides the point. Rather, we hit 1000 members, may as well give something away, since Robot is willing to donate the prize. Seems like the thing to do :)

Also, while not cannonical, I'm sure the Robots occasionally datamine the League's DB for balancing feedback.
Therefore, by directly contributing more results of Shaolin matches, you'd be expediting to the achievement of critical mass that RE needs to help decision making with respect to balancing. And then they can tweak and patch the balances as well as ship it with many bug fixes as well.
