It will be great if the iPad version ...
Right now the iPad version is just an iPhone version without 2x like I played before this game become universal app.
I like the layout of the steam app, chat visible in side, also with game list. For iPad, maybe put the chat at top of game list instead, so when tapping into add new chat, the on screen keyboard will not cover the chat list.
The steam versions lay out is the way it is because most computers have MUCH higher resolution than the ipad2 (which HA is made for) and so have tons of extra space. The ipad2 opted for a decent resolution for the game and to not use the extra resolution on chat. Maybe you can get the steam layout for retina displays but the ipad is much more high res than the iphone
Ipad 2 resolution is 1024x768, same with standard XGA resolution. I think it will be adequate to fit steam-like layout in ipad. I don't ask for exact, but just similar, where chat could be accessed directly on side area.
I play HA in iPad since it still iPhone only, with 2x. iPad version right now only make 2x away, but still have iPhone limitation like the chat and game list. When I play the steam, I really like the layout and wish robotsentertaintment could use the same for iPad version.
I dont have an iPad, but i do play HA on steam whenever i can because i like the layout. (And i can listen to it without irritating the rest of my family) But if i had one of them, I would definitely prefer a setup similar to the steam version.
