Idea for Shaolin Buff - Bonus Tile M ...
<Background> - Sometimes I see new players going out of their way to move onto a bonus tile -- then they move right off of it. I think they assume they retain the "power" of the bonus tile by touching it. Has anyone else seen this? </background>
It gave me an idea for buffing the Shaolin team. What if they actually retained the bonus from the bonus tiles after they moved off of them? Just for the current turn otherwise they'd be way overpowered. A gem tile power could be carried by a unit to a nearby gem. A sword upgrade temporarily boosts the power of the attack. The movement tile would let units slide over, attack attack attack, then actually retreat the full distance back. Since the shield tiles are passive, they wouldn't really gain from this "racial" trait.
If it makes the Shaolin team too powerful, it could be limited to only certain units.
I have played the Shaolin since they came out and have yet to beat a competent player playing a different team. I think they need some help.
If not for Shaolin, consider it a suggestion for a future team FWIW.
good idea for the next team .. allow the bonus to stay on the unit one full turn after they are off it ... DEFINITELY not for shaolin though
Agree with Chris, doesn't fit shaolin at all, still a cool idea especially of it worked with sword and defense tiles
Good idea, I reckon the dwarves could really use this added feature ;)
Seriously though, yes good idea for a new team :) Shaolin can be buffed more easily with some of mobility, range and semi-persistent combo counter.

yes i have seen a few randoms do this and it's like, can't you see the crystals stop going super saiyan once you move off the tile? lol
and i love your idea for a racial trait or a unit ability like that, i think that would be very cool. I do think it would make Shaolin a little overpowered but i would love to see a future team with something like that. As for resist boost tiles i guess it could last for the first hit of the your opponent's turn maybe?
