I have a problem with the Halo Wars ...
I know that this is the wrong place to post this - Hell, it's even the wrong website, but it's the only thing I can do.
I made a Halo Wars account a few years ago, before the game was released. When the news of the website shutting down came around, I went back after not being there in months and read that if you send the Moderator a PM, you can get a special Avatar for the Halo Waypoint forums. But when I clicked "Sign in", it says this: "The post you requested cannot be found or no longer exists. The administrator or moderator may have deleted the post.", so I can't send the PM.
I don't even know the user name off the top of my head anymore. It's a something like the one on here - rosso93 or something like that. It is however, connected to my Windows Live ID, that I use for all of these forums - Including the Halo Waypoint Forums, as I signed up like 10 minutes ago.
Is there anything I can do? Or can I get some help?
Again, sorry for posting this in these forums, but I can't really do it anywhere else.

Just as a last resort, I searched my gamertag and it came up with a thread I posted in saying I still played Halo Wars. My username is Jake2907.

Yeah, well no. I tried, but didn't even make it that far.
It's a bug with the website itself, I'm pretty sure. I'm using Firefox if that is something that may effect it.. (Which seems doubtful)

How long ago was it when you last logged in?
There was a time when the site didnt use Windows Live as the login method and it was just a normal user name and password. Perhaps they have removed the form which allows you to migrate to your Windows Live ID and you are hence getting this error?
Might be easier if Six could ask Coco on your behalf as Coco is inundated with PM's at the moment with people wanting to the Waypoint avatar.
It's been a while since I've been on there - Well bothered to sign in anyway.
All the times I've been there and signed in, I've used my Windows Live ID as my username, I think.

Basically, he says this is a common problem with the site. Go first to xbox.com and make sure you are signed out. Then go back to Halowars.com and sign in. Even if you get that error message, click on FORUM again and you should actually be signed in. Hope that helps!

I used to get the same problem. It would happen whenever I tried to log-in from any page other than the home page or forum mainpage. So just go to the HaloWars.com homepage and then sign in.
Sounds like weaksauce, but that nulled the problem for me.
It's all good. I was told two posts above yours why it wasn't working.

You should charge 5 cents instead of 2, as many countries are on the verge of, or already have, done away with the individual cent. So in some countries, such as Austrualia you'd have to make 3 sales of Hijacking insurance just to earn the lowest physical form of legal tender.

No, probably not.
I'm not being so hard on the thread hijacking these days because things are slow, but when we inevitably pick up again, I expect that type of stuff to take a back seat.

I'd like a refund. My coverage was faulty.
We really have nothing to do with the Halo Wars forums, and haven't since February. Microsoft runs them and handles all support for them now. The best I'd be able to do for you is send a note to my buddy CocopJojo over there and see if he can help you out. But to do that, I'd need to know your specific username over there. Without that, there's not much he can do on his end, either.
