How your name came to be?
My real life name is "Skeleton Master"...I decided to make all of the letters lowercase and combine them into one word so there was no space in my IGN.

What? Your parents called you Skeleton?

I'm sure they just called him Master...

Well, they used his nickname: Bones.
When I was a RL newb (i.e. child), there was a popular comedian named Red Skelton... any relation? I'm sure there was no complicated M&M lobster backstory (no offense intended, Redexoskeleton).
I'm a "Lynch" by birthright, so Hangman is just a play off of that. The underscores replacing a's is just another play on the old hangman game (ie: guess the missing letters).
I thought I was quite clever when I came up with the name. I've gotten over it since then :)
Especially since I only get to use this nickname in smaller communities (and often have to do ridiculous things like adding a "Mr" in front when trying to register an account for a popular service)

Lots of interesting stories, but I have the best. Everyone assumes that I am a man named Art from NJ, but in reality, I am actually a man named Art from NJ. Cant make this stuff up, eh?
I had always assumed the NJ was your middle and last initials :l

... My cat threw up just as I was struggling to come up with a name, so I picked "Demonbarf" as my handle. ... my boss ... discovered my handle, and ridiculed me without mercy.
What made you think you could trust us to provide mercy, hmmmm?
