How can I disable the controller pic ...
As the title says; the game picks up a controller (which is probably my pedals, under the desk).
But it's definitely not a controller I'd want to use.
And the cursor ingame moves steadily to the left.
So the question is; how can I disable this unwanted behaviour of picking up random controllers by the program?
I don't want to unplug the pedals, I use it for simracing and if I unplug it I'll have to re-calibrate, which is a rather tedious manual process of setting the min/max/center values in dxtweak
This is support, its just rare to see something like this in here. The fans tend to do most of the day to day support just because robot is small and they are busy. Some remotes have a priority option that you can set, you may want to see if you can fix it that way first.
Thanks for your response!
What do you mean by your second sentence? What remote and what priority option?
I'm keen to try any solution. If there was a command line or cfg tweak to disable this controller auto-assign, that'd be best, but really, anything is better than nothing :)
You say second, but i think you mean third. Some remotes come with programs where you can set what should be used in the case that either a keyboard or remote control can be used.
There must be a mis-understanding here, I use no remote...
remote control...the controller...
Ah, hm, hever heard a controller referred to as 'remote' (I've only heard the remote used with regards to tv remotes) - nevermind. :) Thanks for trying to help, anyway.
These pedals cannot be changed to any mode - they're just plugged into the USB. Or not.
It's the program which needs a switch or flag to get rid of automatical detection & usage of just any controller (regardless of its type). I hope it has one.
Just unplug the pedals while playing the game. I had the same problem with my flight joystick, unplugged it and was able to play without this issue.

As my original post says, it's quite a hassle. I'd rather like to avoid that.
Unfortunately, unplugging them is the best option we've got. It's hit or miss that sometimes other controllers get picked up and mess with your controls. We don't have a way built into the game to force a specific control type or force it to ignore certain controllers.
That's a real shame but thanks for the response.
Can you guys make sure in future games there's some way of disabling the xbox controller completely? It's not a big deal to do, but it can be a big deal for us users.

...is this the support forum or is this a place, sort of a forum, where one may get support from other players?
I thought it was the former. Since it seems it's not, where can I actually get support, I wonder?
Can anyone help?
