High score not updating?
Hi,
I recently starting playing OMD2 again after not playing since the first few weeks after launch.
I've noticed that some of my scores are stuck at 1 for some odd reason and they don't update after completing the level and obviously getting a score higher than one.
I've googled and forum searched and found zero info on this specific issue.
Is this something that can be fixed on my end or has the save file become corrupted or something? I'm rather confused.
All my other scores are still there and I've beaten several of them since. It's just the odd one or two levels that are stuck at one.
EDIT: I forgot to mention. Some of my scores are just not there at all, as if I'd never done the level before. Those ones don't seem to be as big an issue as they update as soon as I complete the level again.
Seriously? I've not used trainers for the game at all.
The only thing I've done to edit the game in any way was to edit the ini file so it ran at 120hz on release day because it was locked to 60hz if I remember correctly.
But I'm thinking if it's that, that caused me to be flagged as cheating, then I'd have the issue on all maps.
This is rather strange.. If I delete my profile and create a new profile, will that new profile be allowed to submit scores? Or is it my steam account that is prohibited from submitting scores? If the former, then I'm happy to create a new profile. If the latter, then is there some sort of appeal process?
Since the leaderboards are provided by Steam, I'm afraid it may be linked to your Steam account.

The fact some of your scores aren't posted at all (I guess without a telling game crash) points at some technical issue. Another reason could be if you'd played coop with a "cheater" on those maps, but doesn't seem to apply here.
Just checking on this - did you email support with this issue, as well? I know we've got a similar concern in the inbox there right now, and don't want to double up.

Have you used some kind of a trainer / mod for the game, to fool around the game when checking it out ?
When your score is set to 1, it means you've been flagged as a cheater for that map, and you can no longer report scores to the leaderboards for that map, from that point on.
