The new format looks very nice Wyatan! I hope to have some new additions soon. Hopefully this format agrees with the spam filter and doesn't send up any red flags.
This thread should be stickied imo. The high scoring video thread and of course Rogo's combo bible brought not only my gameplay, but my love of the game to a whole new level!

Caldera is a fun one. When I started Wyatan had #1 at 26.8 million. I was stoked to see I broke 30 million. Then looked at the leaderboards and saw Cheetah had done it at the same time and my 30 million was #2 lol! Ran it again using this same strategy and broke 31! Had massive barricade issues. Did you guys barricade differantly?

Managed to get a couple of legit runs in this weekend. Many test runs in Precipice endless finally resulted in a new #1 high score!

Well high scores are meant to be broken, and allthough very short lived Cheetah and I were able to put up a couple nice endless scores recently.
Precipice endless has always been very interesting, we were able to have a very short lived run at the top.

I believe you could have kept going at least one more wave in your Tower run : you didn't notice your Jar of Ghosts was up at the end. Had you used it, it just may have regained you the ground you needed to finish off those elementals before they got to the Rift... Obviously a lot easier to notice while sitting back and watching the video than when in the heat of the action. ;)
Revisited Breakneck Triad on Endless. A work in progress for certain. I didn't make it near as far as I thought I would. However, did hit 8 million and put up a new high score!

I gotta say this strat is awesome just played with it a little and got an easy 9 mil on 13 waves before dinner. So easy to get the x13s. Hats off to you guys for this fantastic concept.
Nothing wrong with the video at all. Very nice as a first vid. Solid commentary. The only thing I would suggest is maybe saving it as h264 while rendering. This will add in the HD option for viewers that want to see it in all its glory!

Thanks for the feedback. We made an epic discovery after revisiting it tonight. We'll try it for real tomorrow night and post a vid if it works. Perhaps with a 100 million plus score.

Beautiful stuff, and nice find on the barricading. :)
I actually really like this level : the way waves are programmed makes it a nice puzzle, which wouldn't have been the case if they'd come from both doors at once, aiming at both rifts from the start.
I was quite impressed by the score myself, especially since I had only gotten 12M before. I like it too. Keeps you on your toes :)
Btw, I'll give credit where it is due. I didn't find the barricading myself. It was posted on the forums a long time ago.
This run is a week old now but the score has still held up! Cheetah and I take on Hidden Gulch on Warmage Story mode for a new high score using Wyatan's superb strategy!

Have only watched the beginning for now but I believed I shouldn't wait till I get back tonight since I'll probably have seen enough "pasting" action for the night. :p
About grinder jamming and spring trap facing : in coop, with heavier orcs, my solo setup may indeed not work out. But if I remember correctly, I used the trick I explained in my notes to the "The Squeeze" run : exerting the windbelt push at the very last moment so that the orcs are still in the air when the Push trap triggers throws them further. That way, the front grinder isn't the one getting all the action.
Took a visit back to The Crossing on endless mode today. Very tough map to high score. After trying a dozen differant set ups I finally decided on my strat and was able to put up a new high score of 2.5 million. I was so excited to see 2 million, and then I clicked leaderboards :( and saw my internet connection was down in the heavy storm we are having... so here is the unposted, unofficial high score of 2.5 million. Guess ill have to run it again lol.
