High Score *SMACK TALK*
Thought we could use a place to talk a bit of friendly trash going for high scores. It's hard to keep up with all the maps and I find it more enjoyable when I see folks tell me that they beat my score. ChiaChuck and I had some good conversations while batteling in the Fork.
This isn't a place for strategies, there are already places for those, just a place to shout out when you get a score you are proud of....and/or want to try and fight for the top of the hill.
Got a favorite map and score you want to blast out? ..... WarMage ChokePoint (one of my favorite maps) is looking tasty. Got 267k on xbox and will give the PC a shot tonight and hopefully will be posting a Blast!
I'd love to see you take it back. I can't tell you now good it made me feel to see your kill box was in the same place. Felt like I was on the right track.
Keeping the traps all the way accross still hits the damn hunters. Can never have to many traps, ahahah.
Yea I'm thinking the knoll hunters are killing me on this level....I gotta find a better way to kill them. It sucks, cause they release in a string instead of all together, so I waste so much mana killing them.
I think when I go for high scores I might leave nightmare alone. Honestly no difference, I'd rather have breaks cause then I can shift things around....

Man if you find a solution for the hunters, I'd love to see it. Only thing I could do was use pallys, but I hate wasting a slot just to protect archers.
eh I don't find it necessary to protect them....I just listen for the howl and then get my icing freeze ready to beat some knoll hunter *** lol I was considering since tehres so much extra money on there, to maybe setup traps on other side so they die quicker when they hop the barricades

Wow, it's a Chokepoint kinda night. Loved that vid Boosia. Chokepoint looks crazy fun on Nighmare! That vid alone just convinced me to stop trying to High Score in Warmage and get into Nightmare. Looks INSANE!...congrats, nice skill/strat!
I got the WarMage one again. Steam must have deleted my original 193k, but because they did and I was reviewing the movie and I noticed I got a 9x on a regular Joe Orc! Didn't know that was possible. Got a video processing, will put it up in the morning showing it along with my Chokepoint Strat.
Hey guys. Watched both of your choke point vids. Great stuff. I am at work today but will try to get some orcs in when I have some free time. Glad more of you guys are making vids... I think we really are enchancing each others game! But no one can cry when they lose their #1 spots! =p And yes... the 9x on the reg joe orc was great. Best I've gotten is 8's. Gotten a bunch of 8's. Anyways, keep the vids commin guys! I need to get some good stuff recorded and worth comentating.

Anyway, I am trying to beat doodys score without cheerchugging. Only #2 now *sniff" and I don't think it will be easy.

Your funny lightning firebrace to rift run you used after some other guy. Tried it, but the results are worse than my method. I understood cheerchugging from your videos.

A VS type platform is the best way for us to settle some OMD high scoring beefs! I talked to Nananea and she is okw with me borrowing the premiss of "VS" and making some similar videos... so who better to play against then my buddy's! First I wanted to see if you guys were interested and second I need to figure out how to edit one of these vids together... may have to ask Nana 20 questions... nothing she isn't used to though. =p
So who's in? Who would want to do something like this? I need to think of a name for it still. But unlike "VS" I want mine to ephasize solely on outscoreing the opponent. Skulls, time, riftpoints, nothing else matters. High score trumps all! So let me know what you guys think.

1) Fraps/Dxtory or some other prog that can record your gameplay
2) Skype to voice chat
3) Some sort of video editing prog. WMM/Vegas/Premier
4) Drop box to upload me your edited movie file
p.p.s. For those of you who dont like to talk and do live commentary over the gameplay (I know english is not everyone's 1st language here), I'd be willing to commentate for both sides once its done. This is not so good for smack talking though. =D

This untenable situation has now finally been adjusted on Chokepoint :)
I felt the need to liberate everyone of hallway nightmare. 2ND place by only 700 PTs under. No boom barrels used. I also felt you guys needed a challenge so I wrecked my way to a high #1 score on runners alley nightmare. Bring it on.
And Doc takes 1st place on the hallway. :| (I don't count 700k as a legitimate score)

You know... I was so close to nabbing #1, now I have to re-think things because my plan was only going to net me about 132k.... I got 122k but got al messed up in the end with the Ogre's and lost almost all my rift points! Had I had the 10K+ bonus would have had me at about 132k!

It's still KILLS me that I have NO idea how I got 145k on Fork NM xbox. Absolutly driving me INSANE! This was also in the first couple weeks the game was created and with no DLC...WTH!
This is hurting me more then anything else in the game right now.

I corrected the situation a bit on some maps. The Baths nm without a coinforge or cheap chugging :)

*shunt* Try again princess, I just took back Hallway and Runners Alley. I now claim DOC as my #1 Nemesis in Orcs Must Die! ITS ON! (the guys great, I can't get enough of the competition) TOP 5 LEVELS, NIGHTMARE! GO!
Oh and I took WM Chokepoint.
I had 4 #1s on xbox til you took one of them on Hard Climb (Warmage) DAM YOU! haha I will be taking that back soon when I have time to reevaluate the killbox. Atleast my nightmare still stands.
btw, the way you decreased to 2 sqares instead of 5 was the way I did it originally, but then decided to take away to baricades to induce more combos (didn't help) Might have to go back to a more confined area. Interesting if you watch my video, the orcs barely walk by the wall...so the traps there are a waste.
