So I guess I need to play Mexico 1 aka Flameshock's COUNCIL!? Did you not all see him lay waste in the This Are Serious Tournament recently? ::gulp::

I found that the best way to deal w tf2 is to NOT play for the end game and make trades that favor board position or AP gains. Like dont be concerned about trading a scroll for an unupgraded spy if it puts an upgraded aoe unit at midboard with a healer behind it. Playing against them takes more thought than any other team, what do they have left in the deck, what will the midgame look like, ask these questions before every turn and then sac a grennie on a suicide mission that damages 7 guys partially. The ap gain will be worth it since you arent playing for the end game (fair trades dont come into play).
That being said, if the endgame comes, youre screwed. But you were screwed anyway per the points on this thread. Dont compare unit for unit, end the match v CK before they are all out there.
This strat works well with DW v TF2
otherwise take out the medics or use the pressure you show going acter them to take out all their offensive units that can operate without independantly. Demo, soldier, pyro, heavy.
I used to hate them, but they are easier to beat than DW iMo

Very close semi by the way for anyone still following along, the decision to not rez two healers popped by a scroll Void Monk and instead push for a CK was acccomplished by a paper thin margin. Game was close to drawn (Offensive crystal map). I thought it was overwhelming and was dead wrong.
I'm signing up for the REF league now, seeing as I won't have anything else to do for a bit. If anyone is up for starting me off in the League I assume the application will be accepted sometime tomorrow.

They've only been at it a week, I would guess they're still fighting it out.

Sorry for the long process on the Finals, I completely forgot about this because of school but it looks like Dominican Rep. comes third by default and the final will take place between Canada 2 and USA 10 - Good luck.

Whoa. I let you know we started my game with flameshock a long time ago. You updated the spreadsheet afterward. Check your email. Also I'm 6 days waiting for his move. Our game has been going slowly as masterpiece knows and has been patiently waiting. I would have checked in here if I knew I was supposed to send an update or get canceled.

Been in progress for some time now since 4/5/2013. We're getting there and it looks like masterpiece2 is in the lead so far. He mistakenly gave up a +3 Grenadier early on but has made up for that loss with perfect play since.
AT LONG LAST - John Janitor is defeated by Masterpiece2. The HAWT Finals will begin this week.
