Hero Academy: Utilize Full iPhone 5 ...
So I just got the iPhone 5 today...and man do those bars on the side of Hero Academy suck. Before I got the iPhone 5, I didn't think I would care about the bars on the side for all the non-updated apps. But, man it just looks weird and outdated and if you didn't know any better it's just like "why the F*CK are those bars there"! This game would look great on the iPhone 5. Games like Mikey Shorts and Infinity Blade 2 that utilize the full screen are freakin amazing.
Robot has said they have no interest in adding iPhone 5 support. Robot: it doesn't have to be this update. But please reconsider your stance. Don't be lazy because it will require you to completely change the look.
theres going to be 6 teams after Shaolin how many do u need! lol after 6 teams i jus want more maps, improve the servers, and improve the graphics

Out of interest what do you think they can do, I don't have an iPhone 5 but surly there are there to keep the aspec ratio, if they were to strech it the characters and everything else would look awfull, what can they do?

I would like to see that RE, would finally think about using more scaleable graphics for less double and triple work... I can't understand why your argument against vector or different scaleable ways (I am not so well in image edit/coding) .. I mean is it really so much cheaper? Well I guess, I have much to learn then.

nope after playing nearly 9 months I still love it *** much and love to find little LITTLE important facts about different units.
you can say that for a lot of games tho...but somehow they manage to convert...im not a graphical expert so i cant say...and as for the teams i agree it does get boring but theres only so much they can do before serious balance issues begin...and theres only so many different characters/styles if play they can create...shaolin looks like the asian version of council graphically , for example , windblade looks like a rehash, etc,

My guess is other apps either increase the FOV like infinity blade (probably) or apps like angry birds you can do the same because you have to scroll normally to see the map
FOV or field of view is the extent of the game world that can be seen at one moment, this is fixed for hero academy (I would imagine)
I'm also assuming FOV can be used to discribe 2d games but I don't see why not
Or I guess an option is to fill the black bars with images so you arnt looking at black bars not as good os fov but nicer than black bars
Anyway that's my guess on how apps ajust, the most I think they could do is add some images there so it's not just black bars I can't think of anything else

I wouldn't say no to a Retina iPad version though. Not that it's a big deal though.
They're not being lazy. It's just stupid to do such a complicated overhaul for so little. It's asking too much.
I too would love to see this fullscreen on iphone5. Other games have managed it fine, Angry Birds, Order & Chaos, etc. Shouldnt be that difficult.
Whilst I'd like iPad Retina and iPhone 5 support, I suspect it would take too many man-hours to implement.
I'd rather RE work on the next new team instead.
