Have you tried to beat your old score?
Just a simple question.
Have you tired to return to story mode and beat your old score?
I certainly have and I'm surprised how much I've improved compared to my old score. When the game came out I was getting 50,000-30,000 points or lower in all my attempts and now I'm getting 90,000 between 50,000 points. Not only that it has been months since I last played OMD2.
(Off-topic: playing again reminds me why I was so addicted to this game. You just can never kill enough Orcs.)
No, I haven't. Two reasons.
First off, I still haven't five-skulled everything.
Second off, OMD! 1 and 2 are, in my opinion, not good games to play for score.

When I first got OMD1 my goal was to 5 skull everything and I rarely even looked at the leaderboards. I really loved the game but felt like I had "beaten it" and moved on to other games when it was announced that there would be no more DLC's. Now that I have been making attempts at high scoring it brings a whole new game and set of strategies in to play. I now find myself striving harder and harder to improve my scores which in turn, provides unlimited replayability.
So in short I would have to disagree. OMD2 is one of the best games to focus on high scoring imo, and will bring your love of the game to a whole differant level!

As much as I agree; its hard to say it with a serious face when the difference between first and third place is more than 30 Million in score. *snicker*
