HA Tracker - New website used to man ...
Hey guys,
I'm here to launch HA Tracker, a website that helps Hero Academy players to manage their games.
Main Features:
- Accout based - create an account (using e-mail or facebook) and access you information anywhere (works on iOS safari too)
- Game log - Manage your enemies and game status (in progress, won or lost)
- Item log - Manage items you and your enemy have left
- Free
Planned Features:
- General statistics and analysis
- Per enemy statistics
- Native iOS app (in progress)
So access HA Tracker, create an account and start tracking your games!
Any feedback is very appreciated!
Wow, that's gorgeous! Umm, it's something of a very nice wheel you've reinvented, but I'm still REALLY glad you did for one very specific reason: I can't think of a better way to drive home the point to RE that people want this feature than for users to constantly be home-brewing their own implementations. This is at least the 4th time someone has done this, possibly 5th+ (the forums are pretty deep at this point and I don't feel like wading in). I mean, RE already *knows* that people want this, but until they say "ok, shut up, we're doing it," I want more clamoring.
I like it! The icon really help, makes it quicker to know at a glance. I think the main portion of the tracker is done quite well :) If there will be chances/stats later on don't make it cover up anything that's already there. Only I can suggest is to make the number a bit bigger so I (blind) can see bit better maybe as a bottom bar of each icon? :) Keep up the great work!
I don't know if this suggestion is possible, or if you are even interested in doing it, as it is specifically REF league related... but...
I am dying for more REF league data, shown in a clear and pretty way. Specifically I'd like to see breakdowns of every single league player (not just myself) that would display the following information:
- A line graph tracking Wins:Losses (travels upward with a win, downward with a loss). Also a second line on this graph should track the ELO score in respect to these win/losses.
- W:L ratios against each race. (Currently we only see ratios playing as each race) Possibly with a line graph for each.
-Map breakdowns, where each specific map displays Win:Loss ratios in categories of Overall, Crystal Kill, and TKO.
Me personally, I won't go to a website to track W:L because the league already does that for me. And I won't go to a website to track items when I'm too lazy to even track them in-game or on a notepad... However, if you could provide in-depth league data that I can't find anywhere else... that I would visit a website for.
Maybe this is too far different from what you are doing here though... also it would require a lot of data mining and code. Sorry if this swings the thread off topic.
Hey guys, thank you for the feedback.
Douten, I changed the font size, now it's a little bigger. See if is better now.
stevewastaken, the league should provide these data. If they had an open query API (webservice) I could make an website to show the charts your asked. The main propouse of HA Tracker is to manage your games and have an item log, so would be a little off add those features you asked.
New features:
- per enemy statistics with race vs race analysis (like this post from ArtNJ: http://www.robotentertainment.com/forum/topic/Latest-Balance-Numbers)
This looks FANTASTIC. I pushed this out to all of our Facebook and Twitter fans. Great work!

Yeah, you're right. It's just been on my mind I guess.
... did I just get dissed when trying to sign up?
Invalid nonce
This is really cool!!
I signed up immediately. It took me a minute to realize that you can cycle all the way around if you accidentally tap an icon. I will start using this in place of my spreadsheet, and give you feedback.
Right off, there are a couple things I would like to see:
- Damage calculator. Just something simple where you enter defender HP, defender resistance, attacker damage, and maybe options for Scroll or Haunch of Meat. It would be great to see (1) AP needed to kill, and (2) how much damage done each AP up to the kill point.
- While I love the look, I would prefer a set of "tiles" that grey out as you mark them off. What I mean is, 3 knight tiles, 3 Wiz tiles, etc. I guess I'm just more visual and it would be easier to see quickly that way.
- Quick reference guide for damage done for AOE attackers. ie, diagram showing damage spread for Grenadier, Wizard, Gunner, Void Monk, etc. Maybe this could even be linked into Damage Calculator somehow.
- I would love this to be an App!
Thanks for a great product!!
One question for those of you who are tracking items... do you mark off tiles as they come onto the board, or as they go to the graveyard? Just curious.
As they leave the game I mark them off, but I almost always lose track of the non-scrolls non-healers non-bombs...

One more thing I would like to see: If you are playing the same team as your opponent, eg, Council vs. Council, it's not clear whether your icons are to the left or to the right. On my spreadsheet I track items on whichever side of the board I am playing on. Meaning, if my team is the home team, I list my items on the left, and the opponent on the right. If I am the "away" team (going second), I list my opponent's items on the left and mine on the right. This way there is less confusion in my mind since the items are listed on the same side of the screen as the teams on the board.
New Features:
- Just added the ability to add Notes to each Game so you can remind yourself about something important in each match.
- Changed Some layout aspects to avoiid scrollbars
mruseless, thank you very much for the feedback! In response to your questions:
- I would like to have a Damage Calculator integrated, but already exists a good one (ACG Damage Calculator) and it would take a lot of time for me to implement that. Maybe in the future =P
- Will think about that, maybe let the user choose
- Also maybe in the future =P
- Iphone preview (image)
- Will think about some way to tell you and the opponent apart
Awesome! Thanks for the quick responses.
I started using it for just a couple games, and quickly moved to using it for all my games. Keep up the good work!
One more request. I think it would be easier to use if the right panel had it's own scrollbar. I have a lot of games going, and it gets tedious to scroll down, find the game, then scroll back up to see the tiles.
Just a thought.
Hey mruseless,
That was annoying me either. Added a scrollbar to the left panel, so now you can scroll through all your games and opponents without messing with the right panel position.
Thank you for the feedback!
Thanks Adriano! Is there an easy way to make it so the games panel can be sorted?
Keep up the good work! I was just curious, how many users do you have now?
But you would like to sort the opponents or the games of one particular opponent? Sorted alphabetically? Maybe it's easy to do it.
The site have about 250 registered users.
Sorry for the delay in my reply. Yes, I was thinking it would be nice to sort the list of opponents alphabetically.
The HATracker is currently offline. AWS - Amazon Web Servers (where I host the app) is reporting a power outage due to electrical storms. When they restore the service I'll post again here (Or you can simply try to access the website over and over again!)
Sorry for the inconvenience, hope they get the service back as soon as possible!
The site is back online! The outage was pretty bad, even instagram and netflix were offline!
Now the opponents list is sorted alphabetically!
Why do all the opponents i register dissapear after I leave the page? This is either a bug or I'm just not doing it right.
Edit: nevermind, it is working now, must have been a bug
Edit again: I dosn't accept my login info or my email.
Hey Networker1,
The system is not allowing you to get in? What is the message it returns?
Invalid Nonce
Makes no sense, what does "nonce" even mean??? I just reset my password today so my login info is correct too. :(
Edit: just like in tabby_nat's picture
Networker1,
Nonce is a random string that is added to the login request to secure the communication. I don't use SSL for secure connections ( it's expensive $$$$), so I use another method to secure the login process and make sure that your password NEVER cross the network in plain text ( I also don't store passwords in plain text in my DB either, but thats another matter). The login process takes the following steps:
- You fill the username and password input fields and click the login button
- The browser requests a Nonce from the server
- The browser encripts your password plus the nonce and send back to the server
- The server checks if the client sent a valid nonce ( the nonce lives in the server for 1 minute, after that it is invalidated) and only then checks if the password if correct.
The invalid nonce error can occur if it takes more than 1 minute between steps 2 and 4. I will increase the nonce expiration time to 2 min and I think it will solve your problem.
Thank you for the feedback!
Is the username case sensitive? I got it to work by using lowercase letters, but I think my unsername is Networker1 not networker1. Perhaps it took too long because of the caital letters. Hope this feedback helps.
The username is NOT case sensitive. You shoud be able to login using either Networker1 or networker1.
i would first like to say this website is fricken awesome! i use it for every league match i play and it certainly makes a big difference
if i have one suggestion i would say is there a way to see percentages of what items you are likely to get? (similar to this site http://acg-solutions.com/Hero_Academy/tracker.html)
and also one other thing, is there a way to add a unit? for example, i have 3 gunners left and i deploy one but accidentally click twice, is there a way to just add one instead of having to click down to 0 and reset it? i lose track sometimes when i'm forced to reset
Hey moontz, thank you for your feedback!
I've added a new way to view your items: The List View. To change between the type of views go to the settings menu (below your username) and check the option "Show Items as List". You can switch between the view types anytime. The default view is the Table View ( the current one).
The List View have:
- Item image
- Item name
- item count
- item percentage of appearing ( any)
- buttons + and - to change the item count
Table View Screenshot - the current view type
List View Screenshot - the new view type

ok perfect!! it looks great

Oooooooooooooo looks really good! I might use it if you launch a free app and RE never implements an item tracker.
Want to play? Send me an invite and a message! Like... "i'm new" or "league" or "practice" or whatever
