Great Balls of Fire! and Tenderiser ...
Has anyone managed to get this achievement?
I've just kill 450 orcs on one level using only the flame bracers and tar pits and didn't get the achievement, is it bugged for PC/Steam?
Also can anyone see the global achievements in steam for OMD? because when I click 'achievements' it just takes me to my steam comunity home page.

I am starting to think the fireballs are something else, I did the same with over 600 and no achievement... But what else could the fireballs be?
Thats why I assume it to be bugged, extra 0 in the game files meaning 3000 kills needed / something set to true when it should be false / set as 300 kill streak rather than just 300 kills / etc.
I did try it twice incase the first instance just failed to record as I had happen for my 40 kill streak, but still no.
Level was Chokepoint both times, once on beginner, once on warmage.
Also tried out differently does not get this achievement
Seems it's not just me then, any comments from a bot welcome, even if it's just a "we're looking into it".
Sorry to keep pushing, I can be a bit of an achievement wh0re at times :p.
Having googled the phrase I used the actual word is probably a better bet, thanks urban dictionary :S
Same bug for me,
Tried two times with the level chokepoint but no achievement. 430 orcs killed with fireballs :(
When the developers fix the bug or tell us how to achieve.

Same issue with Tenderized right or? cuz been trying with no luck at all. Wonder if its worth trying these Achivements or if its better to just wait, same with In Your Face! , havent tried it yet but it follows the same path of the not working ones.
Bah nvm was checking that steamlink, still tricky tho how to do it. Used ithink map3, then pushed em back over and over again so that the pounders got all kills but still no achivment.
Odd tried another map now and my pounders got 200 kills and still nothin... spooky stuff. Perhaps it has something to do with upgrades of traps?
In Yer face and Tenderiser I used The Corner (map 3)
In Yer face - Tar traps (upgraded), baracades (to funnel to sides) and wind belt for pushing enemies back behind the acid pots
Tenderiser - Similar, just put pounders on the underside of the bridge, no need for baracades
Ya did "In your face" a few min ago, used map3 no biggy there. However Tenderized! still dosent work,... gonna try it again since i got some more time to waste. Grrrrr all minionkills from traps and still nothin... perhaps its the mix of tar and pounders.
I used tar with the pounders, got the tenderiser achievement fine.
I have had issues with achievements not registering, got a 52 kill streak that didn't register for the 40 kill streak, had to redo.
Still does not work, do not hurt the poor orcs repair the achivement
i am having issues with the Great Balls Of Fire achivement and Tenderized aswell. i think the tenderized coz of the upgraded pounder, but the fireball one i cannot seem to get even on killing 500 orcs with fireballs :(
I have same issue. Killed 400+ orcs with a fireball in a single battle, but no achivement get.

Also having issues with the Fireball achievement.
Chokepoint is a great place to do no traps+only 1 trap at the same time.
Traps do no include Guardians, so just upgrade your spell power + put as many archers as possible on the bridge.
When can I get the achievement?
Great Balls of Fire - I have the same problem. Killed almost all 450 on Chokepoint with fireball twice, but didnt get the achievement.
Tenderized - worked for me, got it on some map without really trying
In Your Face - tried it on map3, pushed every orc from the first door into the acid with wind bracers but didnt get the achievement. //edit: GOT IT NOW!
You need to use the acid pots just after the bridge, shoot them to pour acid on the orcs.
Tenderiser - it looks like it doesn't count if you use the upgraded pounder.

thanks! i totally misunderstood that one :-P
got it now on the corner. very easy and a lot of fun there. only barricades, tar and wind bracers. its even easier when you realize you can wind-push orcs into the acid while its already pouring.
but the fireball one still doesnt work for me :-(

Great balls of fire doesn't work for me either and it's my last achievement next to the 40 kill streak !! :3

40 kill streak - I suggest the Fork - last wave, tar pits (upgraded), boom barrel and crossbow stun attack.
Hmm, I'm still not getting the great balls of fire achievement (Already had tenderizer).
I don't think the patch has been made live yet.
Steam hasn't updated my OMD today.
Easy 40 kills: The Tower on Warmage. On wave 8 or so, two frost giants spawn down below, and a bunch of orcs come out of door #2. Stand on stairway above door #2. Use wind belt to blow the orcs down the stairs up until the first Frost ogre is just about to hit you, and hit the rolling log trap behind you.
Immediately turn and hit the rolling log trap above door #1 (you should have line of sight on it). Both traps will accumulate kills rather quickly.
I got a 63 kill streak this way.
I can see the global achievements just fine. Try clicking from your library page instead of the store page.
As for the fire achievement, I haven't tried it yet, so no idea. I'll have to redo my 'no traps for you' level and just use the bracers, see if there are enough orcs there or not.
