Graphic Settings not working

Hey I bought OMD2 1 week ago and I play it with no problems but when i watched some walkthroughs i noticed that other people's games look different than mine , and when i ask they told me that its because they play on HIGH settings. I got very confused because my settings have been HIGH since i got the game but the game actually looks like on LOW

My game looks exactly like LOW ^ but in the options it says HIGH. I switch between them and nothing happens , no loading , no effect at all. I tried combinations between the other settings with fullscreen on/off , different anti alias settings and vsync on/off , no luck....
