Gears of War Team
Noticing the idea of adding teams from other games in a few topics and of course the Team Fortress 2 team, i thought it would be cool to suggest a new team idea, in celebration of the upcoming game, Gears Of War: Judgment

Ok here's what you need to do.

Ask him "How badass would this be??????"
My work here is done.
LOL. Hilarious :D
Also - ugh. TF2 is a big reason why I lost interest in HA. They should stay true to the spirit of the game.
I understand, wouldn't want this to be advertising or just a medium for other games, I've just always been a Gears of War fanatic and thought it'd be cool to see the likes of the COG in Hero Academy, but i know it wouldn't be even considered whatsoever. But i think if they ever do another out of cannon team, 1 more would be the most. And plus i thought the mechanics would be pretty cool in Hero Academy, and just wondering, who is Stevewastaken?
Old school HA player

Ahhh makes more sense now, he thinks that the addition of team like TF2 undermines the theme of the game, and thinks it is bad for the community and game. Seems a little melodramatic, I wasn't seriously thinking anyone would consider this team in Hero Academy at all, just really wanted to see responses and a hypothetical "Would it work?". But i get what he's saying. I'm just ready for them to balance out the Shaolin and to continue to make great new teams.
I think your team is way to OP to be in the game. I get that each of the named characters is basically a super unit, but they are way too powerful and have really high resists/range.
As a novelty, they'd be funny (especially in the HA art style) but for serious play they'd need a lot of tuning. I do LOVE the idea of being able to look at the opponents hand though. I think that mechanic would be a good team bonus for a spy/ninja team. Knowledge is power, right?
Yea i was definitely thinking that they'd be way OP after looking over them again, and would have to tune them for serious thought, but it was just an idea, i love the features and thought how could it fit in HA's great format. I was thinking they'd be a very defensive team, like the dwarves, and take a lot of damage. With paladins and armor, the resistance is about the same with the Dwarves with my idea. I think i'd have to naturally reduce it. But like i said it was just an idea, and i've always wanted to try and slip the opponents hand idea in somewhere.
The sad but funny thing about his self-inflicted wound is that those two things he complains about....
•Meanwhile you dig your heels in on issues the vast majority of the community actually wants, like an item counter or a proper item swap.
... were added or fixed by the year's end - within only a few months of his ragequit.
(╯°□°)╯︵ ┻━┻
And how tragic is it that he quit before Robots' release of a new "legitimate" fantasy-themed team, the Shaolin, and then to see its EPIC FAIL compared to the marketing ploy team, TF2?

+1
They would need to be balanced, but Im a avid gears head and I would give my first born for this to happen ;)
OP! There is nothing else to say, not even improvements cause they need to stick to the Hero Academy spirit! (Just because TF2 came out doesn't mean they are gonna put other games in!!)
