Endless Precipice, my nemesis
Well, i tried it like 10 times and couldn't beat it. My higher wave was 35 more or less.
Any good strategy, loadout for my lady? i am playing for 5 skull, not combos. I have a coop buddy but i want to beat this aloneeee :ragequit:
Wave 19 is a f*cking ***. Spawn campers gnolls everywhere.
Sorry for my english, isnt my first language
On precipce I deal with gnolls a couple of ways. Decoys work great. If you place it in the middle, between the two raised tracks, you can also use springs to launch them in to the hole, or set the decoys under the boulder chutes. For grenadiers, I use windbelt with exploding throw. They will go for the decoy and stand a bit more still than if you're trying to dance around them.
If you're bringing the windbelt and spring trap, I should also bring void walls and try a strategy similar to what was done for the weekly challenge into the void. The advantage here is you will have more traps at your disposal. The ogres can be dealt with using ash cart, grinders, brimstone, or whatever else you feel like using. The gnoll decoy between the middle pillars could also be used to launch ogres in the pit with the spring trap upgrade. If you have the DLC, floor portals could be the difference maker with a barricade maze like for the challenge.
Also if kobolt sappers are an issue, try to setup a filter for them using a grinder and a luring barricade 1 1/2 tile behind. Try to place it out of the way so orcs don't get caught in it. I think if you place the grinder half a tile up the wall it won't hit orcs but will hit sappers. Ogres and trolls will hit it too though so best to place it so it's out of the way, or such that enemies avoid the path (try it watchin the blue lines)
Suggested loadout:
windbelt (exploding throw)
decoy (freeze)
spring trap (flip heavies)
barricade (regen)
void walls (heal player)
brimstone (heat up faster)
portals (drop coin)
grinders (reset faster)
mana rage trinket
and something to deal with flyers. Vampire gauntlets, wand (charm is great for flyers; bunch them up and use second charge), or rocket launcher. Mace is great if it fits, especially swinging parallel to the flyer's path. Haymakers are also good but more expensive.

Good luck!
My solution for massive waves with strong enemies....
Mob of enemies + Ice ring + Bazooka + Crossbow headshots (mana regain) = "Orc massacre"
the farthest I ever gotten is always Wave 39 or 40.

For a Sorceress I found webspinners + brimstone + acid sprayers on the ramps tend to kill off almost all of the gnolls before they can even get to the middle of the map. Though that depends on your preferences. If nothing else you could try for spring traps and hope for lucky shots on the ramps.
Of course I only ever got up to wave 42, Precipice has been a pain in my side as well. Gnolls just aren't too big of a hurdle for me since they charge in first ahead of the orcs and tend to take the full brunt of traps.
