EXTENDED DOWNTIME ON NOV 28TH
Heroes! On Wednesday November 28th beginning at 7am Central US time we'll be having extended server down-time for Hero Academy. The servers will be down for 12-16 hours.
The reason for this downtime is that we'll be rolling out our new server technology and converting all of your accounts over to the new back-end system. The new server tech is being introduced in an effort to make the servers more stable and offer better scaling so that we have far less unexpected down-time in the future.
Now that.........is an excellent question. Im guessin just server though. Theres been a lot of discussion and talk of being "broken," and itll probably be a while longer before Robot can tweak everything to be juuuuust right again
This is purely server issues.
Looks like the games running right now but im missing about 80% of my games :(

Same here.
Uh oh...
Robot? Is everything ok in there?
I think I am missing the ones created/started recently. I have no games created after November 23. I think I have all my games created before that.
Same here.

Despite my earlier (premature) criticism, I think Robot Entertainment did good by its playerbase in quickly solving this missing games issue.
So I simultaneously apologize and congratulate. I'm sure this was a major investment of time, effort, and money for this server farm upgrade, especially for a smaller studio/shop like Robot Entertainment. I think your dedication to keeping and supporting your loyal user community is exceptional and an ideal model for other companies your size in the gaming sector to emulate.
Keep up the great work and you have my loyalty.

Thanks, Writch. We've been working for a few weeks to prep the new server stuff. It wasn't just the number of servers, but rather a whole new data structure and code. Now that we've got MOST (but not quite all) of the wrinkles ironed out, things should be a lot smoother. There should be significantly less unexpected down-time and submissions should go quicker, too.
Thanks for sticking with us! :)

Any balance changes or is this purely for the server?
