ESO lag this week. to do with beta?
For a few days now, maybe even all week, ESO has had major lag. Everything is delayed. Chat messages are delayed and get mixed up sometimes. Sometimes refresh gets stuck, etc.
Everyone who I've talked to is also experiencing the same thing.
Does this have anything to do with the AOE online beta testing?

I would think Robot would be smart enough not to put a new game on the same server or even close to it. You would need another set of servers and or service to run a new game. ESO could be laggy due to your internet, firewall could be blocking something or even the servers need a reboot. You should go to the eso.com forums and get support about ESO.
Lag in game is not caused by the ESO Server, it is caused by either internet or computer performance of the players in the game.
Chat lag on ESO sometimes happens if the server is really busy, which it was over the holiday weekend here in the US.

ya i know its so annoying... but the play isnt laggy, as long as i keep powning nub captain lamers, i'm happy :)
