DLC - Should I Buy It?
So the DLC sounds like it helps a lot and £12 for all three packs sounds like a great deal. I just don't know if I should bother purchasing DLC for OMD2. Any suggestions?
Family Ties does look helpful.
Fire and Water looks good for the traps.
I might pass on Are We There Yeti. All I'd really want from it is the trinket.
However, if I were to buy the DLC I'd probably buy them all at once. Are they all worth it?
Well that depends on how you assign worth, I think each dlc provides 6 maps, 3 being a storyish mode, 3 being endless. They are good for an afternoon with a friend, but not much beyond that. if you think 12 bucks is worth a day or two of fun then by all means get them. If you want more bang for your buck I suggest waiting until they go on sale.
I think the question should be "why wouldn't you buy it?"
This question I have an answer for. I play many games and have some on my wishlist. I don't know if I should buy new games, buy DLC for my other games or buy DLC for this game.
Recently I just bought the latest DLC for Mass Effect 3 - my most favourite game - for £10. I really enjoy Orcs Must Die! 2 but I feel that it's kind of getting a bit boring. I think that the DLC will make it more entertaining, especially playing with others. The content you get looks great and my problem is choosing this or saving my money for other games.
if teh game is getting booring do not buy it.
DLC dosn't imporve the game.. it just "adds more" if teh game is dull then it will be dull with teh dlc. All it is is some new traps and weapons and levels and mosnters.. the "game" is the same as what you are bored of now.
Still i would say yes.. the dlc is tottaly worth it if you liek the game. All the new levels are awesome, though some are very hard.. but that only bothers achivment hunters and others that see less than 5 skulls as some kind of insult.
Also steam will be having there xmass sale soon, and expect to see OMD2 stuff at 75% off.. so to buy all the dlc will be less than 5 bucks.. so wtf.. who cares.. just buy it and have 2 less beers between pay cheques and your even. For 5 bucks it is 100% worth it... there is no real excuse.. even minld curiosity is enough reason to spend liek 4.95 or w/e it will be.

Oh! Buy it do! IMO it's worth every penny. I've not been playing it long but I love it and brought all DLC to date - and paid full price and not regretted a minute of it. Treat yourself! You're worth every penny too :)

Ball and chain is worth it in my book, are we there yeti and fire and water were a bit lacking or unbalanced for my taste. The soundtrack is a given that you should have :P
