Co-op disconnection still, respond p ...
I have bought 2 OMD2 for me and my son to enjoy. And we play for 10 min then it always disconnects. I read here in forum it seems to be a big problem as many of your customers have reported this issue.. and with no serous respond from any developer in here. Personly i think its lack of respect and from reading some topics made in here im sure many agree with me. Frustration is a way of saying we still care and would like a respond of what is happening, do you even care that we still awaits some magic to happen or should we just move on and remeber this company as very unprofessional. This will be my contribution for those of us that payed for this game and expected it to acully be playable. Robotentertainment... RESPOND!!
My brother and I were having disconnection problems all day as well.
Then I verified game files, and he started up OMD 1 (to make sure 2 knows that he has 1), and then he logged out of mobile steam. But then when I figured out he was running Hamatchi and I wasn't. He shut down Hamatchi, and sure enough, we actually got to complete a map.
So hamatchi was actually our problem.
Nope. Still having problems (guess we go lucky that round).
Just tried twisted halls co-op twice got to about wave 6/7 each time. Both of use had blunderbuss, rocketlauncher, barricades. Me: grinders, pounders, and sorchers. Him: arrow wall, tar, archers. I've noticed that it always happens the second time we get the disconnection warning and it seems to appear when trolls come (no pun intended).
Guess I will have to try hamatchi. Although I'm sure he was logged into mobile steam.

Can you tell me what exactly is happening on the disconnect? Are you getting an error message of any kind? Dropping out entirely to the menu or desktop? The more info you can give me, the more I can try to figure out what might be going on. Frankly, not all of the disconnect problems are related to the game itself. We've made memory improvements on some levels to help with end-of-level crashes/disconnects, but several disconnect issues are outside of our control. Things like overloaded Steam servers, bad internet connections, etc. I can understand your frustrations, but at the moment there aren't any known bugs that are explicitly causing disconnects. The best we can do is try to work things out on a case by case basis.
If it was overloaded Steam servers, you would think we would be getting booted from other online games in Steam, I'm not. So far the only times I've had issues with other games on Steam has been an internet connection problem I had a while back ( had my line repaired ), and when I ran out of disk space on my Windows drive ( have a 20GB partition that only Windows is installed on, but it keeps bloating! ). So unless you guys are downloading a local cache to an absolute path in c that's not my issue (plus I'd find it highly unlikely most of the people having this problem are short on disk space.).








I completely understand your situation, but many others said to have used a third party program like hamatchi to enhance their connection with their partner. Frankly, I shouldnt be using another program to fix my error as their resolve should be their game itself. I have awaited a response for far too long but was disappointed on their first initial response. I know I have gotten to the point to where I am starting to be frustrated in an unkindly manner, but this HAS to be corrected. Please people of RobotEntertainment, Hurry and fix this problem. We have bought your game to support you and we should be supported back the same way.
