Can't log in to account via iPh ...

I've been having this issue since Saturday.  I opened hero academy on my phone and it prompted me to log in with my email address associated to the account.  I did that and I got an email from Robot thanking me for joining Hero Academy, which I thought was really strange.  I was then prompted to enter a username to associate to the email address.  I tried entering the user name I've always used for my account, but it said it was already in use.  I haven't been able to log in (see my games or purchases) since, on either my phone or on steam.  Interestingly enough, I can still see all my games and purchases on my ipad and I've been able to play my games that way, but I still can't log in with my phone which has been very frustrating.
I also notice that even the forum is no longer using my user name but I'm instead posting with my email account.  It seems as though my username got separated from my account somehow, but not on my ipad?
 
I sent an email to support@robotentertainment but havent received a response.
