Black Screen Crashes
I've begun playing that game as soon as it had been released and it was working without any glitches but last two days it crashes after some time (about 9 waves of enemies): black screen appears and only reset button helps. I've got no multi-GPU option in nVidia settings and I don't know what to do.

Has anything changed on your rig? Any driver updates or anything?
I have the same problem. blackscreen and i have to restart my pc
i read some threads about this topic and it seems to be my graphic card.
nvidia geforce gts 450
no multi-GPU...

*figuered out that my crash occurs always at the same time in the game
*at the level called "der übergang" in german which i think is called "the passage" in english at the begining of wave 6/7
*difficulty: easy
Have you done a file cache verification? If the crash always happens at the same time, that suggests that there's a file missing, and the game is crapping out when it tries to grab that file.
i bought the game when it launched as well but it had random black screens when i get to gameplay, i tryed a lot of things and nothing, i had a post here for about 5 months and nobody seems to care
