Ya, that's what I've heard. Apparently the real battlefield is even bigger than that. I had my mind blown. My PC doesn't meet minimum spec though :(

Thank you OP for bringing this to my attention! I used to play BF2 before the whole CoD4-and-after was godly to alot of people, now though I play Crysis or Battlefield for my Shooters :P

I have the beta invite, but havent used it XD
BF3 was announced back in medal of Honors release, seeing as if you bought a tier 1 Medal of Honor, you got the beta invite to BF3!
It was announced way before the MoH limited edition release, but this is the first actual info actually given on BF3. Before that, it was just a simple "it exists and is in production". DICE/EA wouldn't comment at all on the matter.

I've been learning in the last few months how to use and understand Game engines and by the looks of it FrostBite2.0 engine is quite one of the best in the world.... CryEngine 3 is good too but Crytek only uses it to Crysis :( hope to see how Project KINGDOMS works out!
Wasn't [i]Cry[/i]engine used in far[i]cry[/i] too?
I think it uses Dunia Engine with something with Havok

Singleplayer you can drag allies to safety :O
wish you could do online, then you could drag allies to safety while a medic comes to save them :P
Or drag them off a cliff so they can stop stealing your kills >:D

Sniping is so bad in BF3. That's one thing I think BC2 did right... Not to mention that static noise that plays when you die is just terrible
How? I get sniped so much more now since it's so hard to spot people who are prone and the engi guns aren't magical 100% accurate counter-snipers now.
I've always been a sniper in BF games. I'm quite good at it. But those semi-automatic rifles that you get at the start in BF3 are just terrible - and you're forced to use them. If you miss the headshot, you can literally spam them until you get the kill - Which isn't what sniping is about.
The most tedious thing I've had to do in BF3 was use those semi-automatic rifles so I could unlock a bolt-action one - Which is much much better.
It's just Assault, except longer range. That's what the point of Recon always was.
