Bamboo falling through the deck (bug)
Everytime i get bamboo in my hand, it is replaced by a unit in my deck when i exit out the game and come back in.
This is a new bug I've encountered today. Perhaps robot has already done something regarding bamboo not being seen as a unit before the patch.
I'm in a game and everytime I use an item from my hand, the next item is bamboo from the deck, however when I exit the game and go back into it this bamboo has been replaced by a unit from my hand.
is anyone else having this problem? It seems like something is happening server side once the move has been submitted. I guess this is robot doing something to fix bamboos replacing units in the starting hand, but now it's swung the other way and bamboo is always replaced by a unit.
am I alone?
Seems like Robot is inadvertently breaking something different with every single update now...
On the plus side, the Shaolin did need a buff, we just didnt think it would be "trade bamboo for free"
I am playing a few games were I have a bamboo in hand.
Just to make sure I understand correctly, I can play the bamboo after my opponent has taken his turn, but if I leave the game before making a move, the bamboo will be replaced?
I will try and keep an eye on the bamboo, now that you have pointed this out :)
I have photographic proof of it, so it wasn't my mind playing tricks on me, but I don't know if its happening in every game I have, might just be an odd few. After I had no more units in my deck it actually began swapping bamboo for items so the bamboo became the very last 2 items to come out.
definitely not a buff Art, I was trying to range stomp a pesky gunner, but with bamboo falling like sand I couldn't.
I submitted a turn with a taunt and new cards didnt come out of the door, even though i had five cards still buried. When i reopened the game they were in my hand.
It's the Shaolin buff: magical teleporting & invisible bamboo...
I am getting the bug on steam if I so much as do another turn for another game, regardless of whether I close the app.
Yes it is the same for me, when I said exit out of the game I didn't mean the app, just the individual games. Hope it gets fixed, it's crippling.

They might have fixed it announced, like they did with the 3ap thing, because I dont remember seeing it for a few days. It wasnt just with your opening hand.
This should be fixed with the latest update that came out a couple of days ago.

This should be fixed with the latest update that came out a couple of days ago.
This is false. I'm in a game started today vs TF2 getting roflstomped because of craptastic draws. Haven't been paying attention to what I've been getting but I've needed a bamboo. Finally got one and when I came back for my turn 5 mins later and the bamboo is now a wind blade. Which is useless to me at this point.

Being primarily a Shaolin player right now - this is not good news. Especially since I'm in games where bamboo is sorely needed sooner rather than later.
It's about time those Shaolin got nerfed. That bamboo was starting to get invasive.

I am not sure it happens all the time to all people playing via all methods. I initially noticed the problem on Steam, but in later games it wasnt a problem. Not playing as much Shaolin now, so cant say for sure what the parameters of when this occurs are.

I have 28 open Shaolin games right now. I will try to keep an eye on this issue for each game. Last game I popped in today bamboo were the last two cards in the deck when I finished my turn and finally made it into my hand. That game was create 12/13/2012.
I never had it happen until this game. The bamboo was drawn to my hand but then when I came back 5 mins later to take my next turn the bamboo was now a windblade. I ended up resigning the league match because I got roflstomped...bamboo may have helped but I'm not sure.
Bamboo were the final two draws in my current Shaolin game as well...

This is definitely STILL a big problem.
I have had about a dozen recent SL games where bamboo keeps burrowing to the bottom of the deck. We need it midgame for remote stomps!
The team is challeneged enough with balance - we don't need bugs to give us more reason to reject it.
This happened to me like an hour ago. I thought I was going crazy.
I really needed that bamboo for my crystal rush, too...
