Bamboo Appreciation
Upon discovering bamboo can stomp units, I shat myself. I was so.. so elated. I have so much respect and gratitude for bamboo. It ties the Shaolin team together very nicely. It's like The Dude's rug, it just completes everything and makes me feel whole.
This to you, Bamboo, a strategic masterpice with multiple uses, but mostly stomping. Seriously, thank you.

Yeah? And my parents were so dissapointed with me, but look at me now! A 40+ year old man infatuated with ponies posting jokes on a casual game's forum taking game balance way too seriously.

And I've got to say, I really like the extreme flexibility of the bamboo item! Lets count the ways it can be used:
1) 1 way view, blocking enemy line of sight but allowing your own.
2) Range stomp.
3) Item to link a Windblade attack, so you can tag the opponent and build up unexpected combos.
4) Sit on assault tiles for Shaolin crystal rush. 1200HP, so it's hard to clear.
5) Block enemy access to attack tiles. 1200HP, so it's hard to clear.
6) Let opponent win when taking up starting hand.... wait, what?

The bamboo should have a message on screen when it is used to stomp an opponent. BAMBOOOOED.!
Its the only item I appreciate being stomped by, its simply to funny :)

Absolutely awesome idea! I really hope RE puts this kind of small detail into Hero Academy! It would be such a nice feature, kind of like "Wasted Scroll!" when an archer/grenadier scrolls at melee range.
Bamboo stomps, bamboo tanks, bamboo holds down assault tiles, bamboo blocks teleporters. It slices, it dices, it juliennes. It makes a nice urn for the ash thats left behind by the dragon fire too, doesn't it?

Agreed. The bamboo is currently my favorite Shaolin item, as long as it isn't clogging up my opening hand. ;)
