Yes, it's unfortunate that there are some genuinely malicious people out there who prevent us from opening up all the features we'd like to open up. We'll get as much as we can in, though, as long as it's not abused.
Should have something where users who have posted a certain amount of post can use BBCode or been on the forum for a couple of months.

Basic BBCode has been enabled, but we've not enabled any features that weren't already available (like posting pictures).

I only get a trifle mad if I can't hyperlink, which has been here from the start so I've already been satisfied.

What about if you guys have Default signatures like under saying Age of Empires Online Fan, or Cant. wait for age of empires online and we could submit our signatures so you guys can accept?

Actually, that's on the list. It's just low-priority for the moment.
I'll look into adding BB Code support to the site as a whole, but for now we're going to keep image posting turned off, and we're also not allowing images in signatures (which is what I assume you want to do with that banner)
