Armor Debuff on 0 Armor Target
Since you cant debuff below 0 armor (no extra damage) the debuff icon shouldnt attach to a target that can never go above 0 armor -- i.e. a crystal.
I am not sure if I have proof yet! I *think* I saw back to back super-unit hits on the crystal for 450 each. I cant explain your 765 though. That would be 255x3. 255 would be an odd number to get to from a 50% armor debuff.
the 765 was all I had left on my unit at the time. I imagine it was a -30% or -40% for 780 or 840 actual damage.
The debuff does -50% phsyical damage for one hit, and it does go below 0%.
I confirmed that you cant debuff the crystal to increase damage. Probably deliberate that you can only debuff units below 0 armor (assuming that is what you observed).
So my original point stands...there should not be a debuff icon on the crystal if it doesnt do anything.
Just downloaded the patch and went into mass testing, started almost 10games and im allready lolling my *** of :D.
So far i just LOVE the dwarves, only thing i dont like atm is that you still got the shield buff. was hoping for something else, dont know what tho.
More comments in the furture! (soon)
Oh...I didnt appreciate Zekers post . . . its physical debuff! So the unit does magic damage, but creates a physical debuff that can take armor below 0! Got it!

You can debuff the crystal. You can also debuff units regardless of their initial armor value. It will be -50% physical. For instance if you debuff an enemy gunner that has a shield, he will go to -30% physical armor.

Do you have proof there is no ability to deal extra damage as a result of the debuff? I read this post first and thought my bazooka joe was safe but a scrolled paladin came over and slapped me for 765 dmg. I was figuring with my shield, and a couple of debuffs that at worst I was looking at 200 x 3 = 600 dmg. If stacking debuffs past 0% is working as intended, I think I may fear this super more than ninja and wraith.
It also adds a whole lot more complexity calculation wise when trying to determine what units are potentially safe before I hit submit. I can no longer fall back on my remembered calculations for the 4 standard armor levels and 2 standard damage levels, so now I not only need a spreadsheet to track units, I now need a calculator on hand too, kills the mobile aspect of the game :(
