Any suggestions for completing the final Classic level on Nightmare in co-op?
I finished it by barricading one half with 4 barricades and defending the other. Watch out for the 6th wave though - swarms of bombers from everywhere.
Shameless plug for my video guide:

This includes a mindblowingly simple way of dealing with sappers. Good luck!

This is my take on 5 skulling the Finale based on Milennin's run through - but with a few tweaks for my own play style.
The only things of note are:
At 41-44secs, make sure you place the two barricades (the 5th set of 2 placed) in the same order as shown, otherwise the kobolds will slip around them.
Every trap I add in after level 10 (bar the wall blades) is, the truth be told, unneeded.
My commentary for some reason didn't appear, hence the waste of time at the start showing the rolling logs and explaining how much time they can save you if triggered at the correct moment.
The wall blades are used to try to stop the Shaman perma-ressing the heavies as if they are chopped up they can't be ressed.
After trying several setups for Finale and failing, sometimes miserably, your layout (with Mana Rage replacing the arrow wall you never used) was the one that got me 5 skulls finally. Thanks for posting the video and link.
The reason I posted was this...
The last 2 mobs killed were Armored Ogre and Shaman, in that order. Shaman was rez-casting when it got killed. While I'm doing the 5 skull dance, here comes the AO back up the stairs at me. I just thought that might be funny/interesting to someone. :)

The level called "Finale", you mean? Learn when which types of enemies spawn where, so they don't surprise you. I believe when we first 5-skulled it, we used tar pits, floor scorchers, boom barrels, decoys, archer guardians, mana wells, barricades, charm, polymorph ring, trap reset trinket, crossbow and one other thing. We made the kill zones halfway up the stairs from each entrance, and held the enemies in place using decoys and tar pits. We placed archers at the top of the stairs, scorchers pointing toward the decoys and boom barrels in the middle of the kill zone. And of course we used the weapons for what they're worth. It worked quite well.
